The compressor went out on this after only two years. Plus it never really refrigerated the cans of soda. I had to throw a perfectly good-looking unit away because it is inoperable. there are many such reviews online indicating the same.

i bought this cooler a month ago. And it doesn't keep the temp where you set it at.. I set mine at 35 degrees and the cooler says it reading at 38 degrees. but i felt that the soda and beers didn't feel that cold, so we put in our own digital thermometer in, and it was reading 47 degrees. so you can't go by the thermometer in the cooler it is way off. so for everyone claiming it is reading at around 38 degrees, you should put your own thermometer in it. for me 400.00 is a lot of money so i took it back to home depot. I went to Lowes and bought the Frigidaire 4.6 Cu. Ft. Beverage cooler. it is a little smaller but it works great and keeps the right temp. before you buy this unit read the reviews. And then read the reviews for the Frigidaire. I would not buy this unit… i wouldn't even give it a 1 star but you can't leave 0.. i will say it is nice looking. but if it doesn't work, well then the looks won't mean anything...

We bought this refrigerator along with the matching wine cooler for our family room wet bar and although it is nice looking and provides adequate space for beverages it is too loud when it kicks on and off and is running. If you bought this and the wine cooler for a location other than your family room, where you watch TV, you might not mind the noise level. I guess for the price, I expected more.

Very disappointed as liked appearence and features of unit. Even had a space built for it in guest room of new house. After year just beyond warrently, began making loud humming sound. Guest had to unplug in order to sleep. Vissani said might pay for parts. But those are incidental given service travel and labor to fix at our home. It is a heavy piece, so may have to pay hauling charges as well. Imagine when all said and done we'll have sunk cost of this thing into repairs

I read other reviews before I purchased and knew what to expect. The programing of the temperature control is easy. I programed it at the lowest, 35 degrees and get a steady 36 - 38 degree temperature. It keeps the beverages / beer cool, but not ice cold and it's got excellent capacity. Its used down the basement in the man cave only and not outside at my cabana bar. So, it works well with the even average household temperature. I would recommend this unit only if you're using it inside. Looks great in black and stainless and matches my basement bar decor.

I just bought two of these beverage coolers from HD. I wanted to put them under my bar because the picture on the box looks great. I got home, plugged it in and turned the interior light on. IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE ON THE BOX. The light is a very dim LED, nothing like the incandescent glow in the picture, where the light permeates through the bottles. It lit up nothing. Shut the door and you can’t even see what’s in the refrigerator. I don’t know if it was a design change when this product changed from Magic Chef to Vissani, but this purchase was a real disappointment. I returned them a few days after I bought them. HD was very accomodating with the return. (This is the first time I have EVER written an on-line review)

Product wouldn't cool. the lowest temperature I could get on it was 46F which is pretty high for a beverage cooler. I called tech support and the guy determined that the unit was defective. Magic Chef customer service was terrible in handling the case from that point onwards.

Watch out for this Magic Chef off brand! Mine quit cooling and its only 3yrs old. It runs but doesn't cool. Three yrs ago I got one similar to this model. It lasted about 5 months. Home Depot replaced it no questions asked. So I got the replacement and another one for my white wines. 2 1/2 yrs later it quit cooling.

This beverage cooler keeps everything at the right temp. Cooler stays right around 38 degrees. Sodas and beer are nice and cold. Love the light inside gives it an elegant look. Like the fact that the shelves are adjustable. Can even put trays of snacks inside. Price was within our budget priced some that were double the price. Thanks Home Depot

This is a nice cooler. It got a bit rough in shipping I believe as a fan mounted in the top rear of the unit got knocked out of place. Easy enough to pop back into its mount.

Multiple problems. Light bulb went out repetitively. It doesn't cool evenly. The glass front door spontaneously cracked. The seal/weather stripping broke down. Frost built up in the back which then leaked and stained the floor making a mess.

In summary I would say that overall the beverage cooler was a good value. The capacity was good and the interior space is good for all kinds of beverages with different shapes like wine, sodas, juices, water and etc. However, it makes a little noise when the fan transitions or shuts down and I don't know if that should be expected. Also there was a little tarnish on the top hinge that I could not remove.

I have had this unit 1 1/2 years. It has never held a constant temperature. It will register at 37 or 36 degrees and within an hour will register in the low 40s, not to return to the thirties for months. Manufacturer does not reveal this undesirable large fluctuation in the temperature until the product has been purchased. Poor quality. Would not purchase again!

The fit was great and it has served as a great back-up to our full size refrigerator that is suffering from "old age."
Not suggesting that is what you use it for but it is giving us "breathing room" while we decide what to purchase to replace the full size refrigerator.

This beverage fridge works fine for our needs; keeping beer, wine and other drinks cold. Have had it a couple of months and no problems or issues. Looks great in our bar area.

Overall I'm happy with this purchase. I like my beer cold and it seems to be right around 37 degrees. I removed a shelf to fit more bottels, but it holds a ton of bottels/cans.

Looks great, but when the fan is on it sounds like a lawnmower. Completely unacceptable volume. I think the one I purchased must be defective, because no one would keep it if it sounded like this. The loudness of this product has compelled me to write this which is my first online review of anything ever.
