This beverage cooler keeps everything at the right temp. Cooler stays right around 38 degrees. Sodas and beer are nice and cold. Love the light inside gives it an elegant look. Like the fact that the shelves are adjustable. Can even put trays of snacks inside. Price was within our budget priced some that were double the price. Thanks Home Depot

This is a nice cooler. It got a bit rough in shipping I believe as a fan mounted in the top rear of the unit got knocked out of place. Easy enough to pop back into its mount.

Multiple problems. Light bulb went out repetitively. It doesn't cool evenly. The glass front door spontaneously cracked. The seal/weather stripping broke down. Frost built up in the back which then leaked and stained the floor making a mess.

In summary I would say that overall the beverage cooler was a good value. The capacity was good and the interior space is good for all kinds of beverages with different shapes like wine, sodas, juices, water and etc. However, it makes a little noise when the fan transitions or shuts down and I don't know if that should be expected. Also there was a little tarnish on the top hinge that I could not remove.

I have had this unit 1 1/2 years. It has never held a constant temperature. It will register at 37 or 36 degrees and within an hour will register in the low 40s, not to return to the thirties for months. Manufacturer does not reveal this undesirable large fluctuation in the temperature until the product has been purchased. Poor quality. Would not purchase again!

The fit was great and it has served as a great back-up to our full size refrigerator that is suffering from "old age."
Not suggesting that is what you use it for but it is giving us "breathing room" while we decide what to purchase to replace the full size refrigerator.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Looks great, but when the fan is on it sounds like a lawnmower. Completely unacceptable volume. I think the one I purchased must be defective, because no one would keep it if it sounded like this. The loudness of this product has compelled me to write this which is my first online review of anything ever.

We purchased this product approximately two months ago and noticed right away that it was not chilling our beverages to the temperature selected. We had it set at 35 degrees and and thermometers we placed in the unit measured 44 degrees. We contacted the manufacturer and the rep we spoke to told us that the cooler was guaranteed to work 5 degrees +/- what the cooler thermometer states. Since our reading was greater than 5 degrees different, they sent a repair man out. The repair man told us that he could replace the fan, but we would be better off taking the unit back and getting a new one. We did and we are experiencing the same issues with our new unit. Needless to say, we will have to go through the hassle of returning this one too. Buy this product at your own risk.

The appliance looks great but does not cool. The book says 35 degrees to 54 degrees F but it only gets down to 39. I have set it at 35 empty and it will not get to 35. They replaced the control but that did not do anything. I called the MC Appliance number and was told that the factory sets a 5 degree span, so the product is running fine. Tell that to any beer drinker! I am returning the appliance today. Will find a product that does not have a 5 degree span.

I bought this for my husband for an early christmas present. We have been using for 2 weeks now and it has been working great. It keeps drinks cold, it looks good and is fairly quiet. I looked for a long time to find a beverage frige that could be built in and other models ranged from $600 and up if they had good reviews. This was half the price of one I had on order and cancelled and I am glad I got this one instead! I also went to the brand website and ordered a wine rack shelf for $24.00, so I thought that was nice and I was able to talk with someone so I feel good about if I ever had an issue with the product they would be responsive. I would recommend this to any one.

I have found the unit to work very well and get to temperature under 40 degrees. Their were some complaints it did not get cold, but that was the wine cooler. It can take a day to get real cold if you put a fridge full of room temperature drinks, but it got there. You need to make sure they are not touching the back cooling part
I got this on sale, free delivery and a rebate. I cannot complain. I am very happy with the price and way it works
It also looks very good

I've had this beverage cooler for 8 months, and it has done the job for me. I was skeptical at first because it is considerably cheaper than other models, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I have it set at 37 degrees and use it for keeping beer and non-alcoholic beverages cool. I've read other reviews about how it doesn't get drinks very cold or sometimes leave you with downright warm drinks. I won't discount what those folks are saying, but I simply have not experienced that. In fact, I have the opposite problem. If you really fill it up to capacity with cans/bottles, the cans/bottles towards the back can have a tendency to freeze up on you, and I have had a couple aluminum cans literally explode their tops off leaving me with a mess to clean up. I have found that if I leave an inch or two of space just in the back center of the middle row, that seems to alleviate the freezing issue. I am guessing that it allows better air flow for more uniform temperature throughout.
The fridge isn't the quietest thing in the world; it actually sounds about the same as my full-size kitchen fridge when it runs. For perspective, I have it under the counter in my kitchen very close to my family room where we spend most of our time, and although you can hear it running, it isn't a nuisance and doesn't cause us to change the volume on the TV. I do also get an occasional knocking sound when the compressor first kicks on for the cycle which is quite loud - I would classify that as a nuisance if it wasn't for the fact that it happens for a split second once or twice an hour at most, and it certainly doesn't happen each and every time it turns on. Also, it does seem to run frequently which concerned me, but it hasn't had any noticeable effect on my electric bill.
Visually, I think this thing looks better than the picture. I can't explain it other than you'd have to see it for yourself in person. I like that there is a nice Vissani logo provided in the bag that you can affix to the unit (it's secured by double-sided sticky tape), but I left it off because it just provides a cleaner look. I doubt Vissani intentionally provides the logo separately so that people can choose not to put it on, but the unintended "feature" is a plus in my opinion.
Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to give you as much info as I could to help you make your decision. People are generally less inclined to take the time to review a product when it does the job it is expected to do, so we are often left reading mostly negative reviews from frustrated folks that are experiencing problems...what you never really know is whether or not the percentage of the negative reviews correlates to the percentage of product owners that are unhappy with the product. I can't answer that question obviously, but I wanted to at least give you perspective from a "happy" customer for your shopping comparison.
In conclusion, would I say this thing is perfect? No. Do I think it will last for years and years? I'm still a little skeptical. But, it's been running like a champ, and for less than $400, my opinion after 8 months of use is that this unit has exceeded my expectations, and I am planning to purchase a second one in a few months when I finish my basement.

I can't speak to why so many people were having issues with the cooling setting, or why some thought it was noisy because I don't have either issue. In fact, I am able to set the cool setting down to 35 F if I want to but have it set to 39 which is nice and cool. You do need to hold down "set" for about 3 seconds to change the setting so perhaps that is where some are having issue. The quality is fine, although my hinge seems to rub a bit on the bushing, but I should be able to clean that up. The light on the photo above is a bit misleading as the actual lights are 3 LED lights which don't light the cooler up much through the smoked glass. Overall, this is good quality. I can't speak for the durability as i just got it up and running today.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought this fridge 2 years ago. I am now selling it. It just does not get drinks cold enough. It looks good and it runs quiet. If you set the thermostat to 39, it seems to cycle back up to the low 40's and if you put a thermometer in the fridge it is actually is sometimes in the high 40s. It would make a good wine fridge. Ended up buying an Avanti which keeps my beer at 33 degrees.
