TERK HDTV Antenna, September 16, 2008
By Airtime from Long Beach, CA

"Worked as advertised. Bought at Home Depot so could return without the hassle of postage if it didn't work.
Compact and easy to mount and install. Clear directions. Quality materials.
I actually mounted the antenna on the top of a 1" X 6' EMT conduit pole so as to raise the antenna off the roof. I did not use all the parts of the mounting kit that came with the antenna with using the pole.
The mounting kit includes all the hardware for mounting on the facial, or a least acceptable, the actual roof surface. (mounting with screws through the roof are not acceptable, in my opinion.)
Comes with a amplifier that attaches near the back of the TV incoming coax that is connected to a small plug-in transformer that is included in the package.
This antenna worked fine in the area of Los Angeles for all the HD broadcast channels in Los Angeles. It pulled in all the major network and PBS channels and many others, most not worth watching in my opinion.
No cable, satellite dish, monthly subscription, fees or taxes with what's over the air free and this antenna will pull in with ease. And iIf it does not work in your area take it back to you local Home Depot for a refund minus postage to have it sent to you."

Works great for HDTV, issue splitting signal, February 6, 2008
By kmac182 from West Palm Beach, FL

"This antenna was actually purchased about a year ago and I mounted it in my attic instead of outside. I did not want to bother with grounding it or the homeowners association rules. The cable run through the attic is about 35 feet.
I went to antennaweb to get the direction to point the antenna based on my location. It worked great, pulling in the signals from where I live in West Palm Beach to Miami (over 70 miles away). And I have a concrete tile hip roof.
The amplifier resides near the TV input and is plugged in between the incoming line and TV or recorder.
I receive about 18 channels in HD and cannot believe the clarity. I am opposed to paying for cable or sat since I mainly watch a few network programs and news.
My only issue was trying to split the signal for more than one TV set, the signal degraded too much to pick up the distant stations. I am sure it had to do with the amp location as well. For this reason I am purchasing a second antenna for the second TV since the cabling is already run. (I had cable previously). It is very compact compared to the other full outdoor antennas and was easily mounted to one of my roof trusses. Now I just have to figure out how to record using a higher quality than old VHS tapes."

Excellant Antenna, January 21, 2008
By SSPioneer from Pea Ridge, Ar

"I live out in the boon dock sort of speak, and a good ways from the towers. I installed this unit on top of my house and followed instructions. Came inside my house and did a automatic search for channels and it found 20 or analog and 10 digital channels. That was more than doubled what I recieved with my inside antenna. I would highly recommend this unit to others. Easy to install and ready to go out of the box."
