The freezer works great. It has two baskets for small items and is large enough to buy groceries in bulk for single people, couples or very small families. It was the first time I had bought an appliance on line and was easier than I thought it would be I certainly highly recommend it!

This is a nice little freezer! Has 150 lbs. of beef in it & still has room to spare. But it doesn't take up much space.

I absolutely love my new freezer. I have owned it for a few weeks now and it works well. It is quiet, very roomy and comes with 2 baskets. i did not have to adjust the temperature settings, i just plugged it in and waited for it to get cold. I am definitely cooking and freezing more food for my family.

This freezer is perfect for our townhome kitchen. At first my wife was hesitant to go along with the purchase, thinking it would be too big, but after its arrival, it fit nicely on the side, doesn't look out of place, and now we can fit my steaks along with her fish and chicken, as well as pot pies, breakfast foods, etc. It's great for families that buy in bulk or for those whose modern fridge has a freezer sized for gnomes. I'd recommend this to anyone who needs the additional freezer space. One footnote: There are a couple of "buttons" on the lower right of the freezer; these are not functional and I guess are placeholders for other models with additional features. I researched this online to make sure I didn't press them and break the freezer and could find nothing...then, I went back downstairs and tried pushing them, to discover they merely look like buttons but aren't. Overall, rated a 5. No downside up to this point, and we've had the freezer for a month. Also recommend ensuring the lid is fully closed (no boxes sticking up causing the lid to open a crack), as that causes frost to form inside faster than normal. This is mentioned in the instruction booklet, but it's probably worth mentioning to your family members as they may not realize the necessity to keep the door fully closed. Normally the weight of the door is sufficient to remain closed, but a protruding box can keep it slightly open without setting off any alarms.

Freezer is large 7 cu ft with 2 baskets for smaller items. It works very good but you wouldn't know it from the lack of any noise from the compressor. This is by far the most quiet unit I have ever owned.

The 1st freezer that was delivered did not work. We had a 2nd freezer delivered and that one works great! Hard to reach things on the bottom of the freezer but thats because I am short. Over all good freezer

I bought this freezer because of the deal that I got on it for a black friday sale. We used it for about 2 months this winter, and it did keep the food frozen quite nicely. The only bad thing is that it leaked water all over my floor. After taking all the food out and disconnecting the unit I found water coming out of the metal pan that covers the whole bottom side of the unit. Luckily we had room in another freezer for the food. GE thought that it might be condensation from heat, but I find that hard to believe since it was used in our laundry room which is only about 50 degrees right now. I returned the unit to the store, and will look into another option.

I used this to make a 4-keg kegerator by adding a wooden collar and re-installing the lid. It is incredibly quiet when it cycles on, is so energy efficient that it rarely cycles on to keep the temp at 38F, and maintains an even, cold temp. I couldn't be happier!

I PURCHASED THIS FREEZER TO BE IN MY KITCHEN BECAUSE I AM IN A SECOND FLOOR APARTMENT. IT IS JUST PERFECT! IT RARELY RUNS AND IS QUIET WHEN IT DOES. I AM NOW ABLE TO STOCK UP ON DEALS AT THE GROCERY STORE. THE TWO BASKETS ALLOW ME TO STORE OPENED BAGS OF VEGIES, ETC SO I KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE USED FIRST. THIS FREEZER HAS ROOM FOR 5 TIMES AS MUCH FOOD AS THE OVERHEAD FREEZER ON MY REFRIGERATOR. I AM THRILLED WITH MY CHOICE!

So far I love this freezer. It's perfect for our small family's needs. I love the interior shelves and baskets and even though it doesn't have a light inside, we keep it in the basement and wouldn't need a light anyway. It came with a little ice scraper thing for cleaning. Definitely recommended!

This freezer is not fancy and full of "extra" features but it is great for every day needs. It is a perfect size for a smaller family that just needs that extra freezer space. It was simple,just plug it in and within 24 hours had food stored in it. It is quiet and other than when we plugged it in,barely ever here it run.
