The only complant I have is it has a small ding on the front . I was dissapointed It was delivered that way without a quality controll check.
I don't like to have to look at the dent but didn't want to go through what it would take to have it switched out.

I live alone and the GE 5 cu. ft. size is perfect for me and it arrived promptly, in a couple of days. It is quiet and efficient. In about 4 and 1/2 hours, after delivery, I had it loaded. Home Depot has always surpassed my expectations, in all of my dealings, for years. It is my store.

GE freezers have been used by this family for many years. They are durable and the frozen items are accessible. This one was a gift to daughter and family. I have a side by side refrigerator and the freezer part is just too small. I was tired of opening the door and having every thing fall down on me. This freezer is just the right size for me and my husband; I don't know why I never thought to buy one before.
The delivery people were just wonderful and respectful. They brought the freezer in after unboxing it in their truck, plug it right in, waited until it started running and then asked if I had any questions. Couldn't have asked for better service.

We needed a replacement for an old chest freezer of about the same size. Since there are only two of us, we wanted a very small one. My only quibble is that efficiency in this size doesn't seem to be an option--not a lot of choices in this category, and no Energy Star models I could find. Still, this one was a ridiculous bargain price, since Home Depot includes, at no extra cost, unpacking and delivery to the room where you want it, plus removal of the old item. After about a month, all I can say is that it works just as expected, it's quiet, and it was an incredible bargain.

Only purchased this three weeks ago. So far, all I can say is it's the perfect size for a couple living in a small apartment. Runs quiet and is pretty much what we expected so far. Only problem with delivery was that when I was contacted with the 4 hour window for delivery, I was told that I would receive a phone call when they were an hour away. I received that call... thirty minutes after it was delivered. Also, it wasn't delivered by Home Depot employees. Instead, it must be a third party company. No biggie, just sayin'.

Upon delivery of the freezer the driver unloaded it and immediately noticed it was damaged. He explained what we needed to do in order to return the damage one and check on delivery of a new one. This is the second item ordered that was delivered damaged. We are very disappointed in the products being delivered to specifications this year.
