"This heater is just OK. But if you don't need the remote control, get the LASKO 24 In. Digital Display Ceramic Tower Heater (Model 5141) instead (I tested both). Model 5141 is smaller and deliver heat faster. If you have a small bedroom, this heater might be too noisy for you. I returned mine to get the 5141.

Excellent secondary source for 800sqft basement,

"My finished basement is not fully heated by my central heat. The central heat which on the main level is at 70 only keeps the basement at 65. I plugged in the Lasko heater and it had the 800 sq ft basement up to 70 in only a hour. It runs for about 10-15 minutes an hour to keep this temperature and the unit itself doesn't get hot enough that I have to worry about my toddler running around."

"The heater is Convenient but does lack a strong output of heat. Rotates is nice and the Temp setting is nice but not accurate. The price was good since there was no shipping charge. But with Shipping charge I would seek out different heater with a greater output of heat! But it is a nice heater."
