Operating at 90% heating efficiency, this infrared patio heater runs on regular household electric current and is substantially less expensive to operate than propane patio heaters. This infrared heater does everything that I could expect of this product. The heater is good quality, well packaged, easy to use and install and provides good quality low cost heat. This product exceeded all my expectations.

Works fairly good but does not actually heat a 9' wide area out from it as the description says.Still overall a good buy for the money and actually thinking of getting one more.

Nice heater, works very well so far, delivery was late in coming, but I trhink it was because of the Hoiday schedule.

Many of the reviews were negative about the amout of heat this unit puts out. Sure enough, they were right. I promptly returned the unit.

Opening the box will tell you that there are some things to put together. Assembly is NOT difficult and my heater was complete in a few minutes. Deciding where to mount it was more time consuming. I'm amazed at the quantity of heat the infrared heater produces. This little heater really warms the objects and not the air...as advertised. I'm retiring my small 1500W ceramic heaters because this infrared does a much better job of heating. The only thing I wish it had is a thermostat.

I purchased this to heat a work area in my shop. Overall shop size is about 25x25 but I was hoping to get sufficient heat to be comfortable in about a 10x10 work area. This heater was weak, and only put off a decent amount of heat in an area about 4' wide and not further than 6' from the heater. If you stand right in front of it it is putting off some warmth, but you have to stand DIRECTLY in front if it to feel it. This one is going back.
No, I do not recommend this product.

OK, there are a few reviews out there but here is my experience in Altanta. If it's cool outside (40 to 60 degrees) you have to be right under the unit and standing for it to serve its purpose (1-2 people). But if the wind is blowing the feeling of heat is greatly diminished. But it serves my purpose and I spend less on propane now. It is very bright so I angle the light away from my outside TV. Good luck.

I purchased two heaters for my patio. I live near the ocean and there is a constant breeze which can be quite cool during the winter months. These heaters allow me to use the patio in cool weather. I love that they heat objects, but not the air. They are working out very well - keeping me and my guests warm on cool evenings.

The only way to get any heat from this costly product is to stand directly in front of (or below) the heater. The maximum distance to receive any heat is three feet.
A total waste of money and installation time.

In New Jersey it's too cold to work in my detached garage in the winter so I bought the heater. It has worked out great and keeps my 20'x27' warm enough to work in without the fumes of kerosene or worry of propane. Whether I'm cutting and sanding wood or working on something on the work bench the heater keeps my working area warm to work in.

I purchased one of these for a garage I have attached to the house. I converted my garage into a home bar, but never put insulation up. I hung one of these heaters from the ceiling and it works great. The house is in the Poconos, PA which gets pretty cold in the winter and I am comfortable in my garage under this heater. I also love the fact that it only costs .19/hour to operate. I've had other heaters that wouldn't even compare to the heat this thing gives off.

Very nice area of heat. Install is easy, just don't use the template to drill holes. The template doesn't match holes on bracket. Use the bracket to mark the holes on the wall.

This heater is great! I also found the template to not match the bracket. However, it was simple to install if you know that and just throw the template away.
The heater keeps my patio warmer than 3 other space heaters I had running at once previously. Be aware, it does put off quite a bit of light.

So far the heater works fine. Had a little trouble with the installation. Check your mounting bracket template before you drill. Mine DID NOT line up with the bracket! Now I have a couple extra holes in my house.

I built a screened gazebo. It's starting to get cold and wanted some heat in the screen gazebo. My fire pit wouldn't work. I bought 2 of these heaters where I have them mounted it gives plenty of warmth to be outside.
