Available exclusively at The Home Depot, Admiral appliances offer all the basic performance and convenience features you need at the price you want. This Admiral dryer features a 6.5 cu. ft. Super Capacity drum to fit more laundry and the high capacity blower gets it dry fast. Five cycles include Regular and Wrinkle-Free, plus variable dryness levels and three temperature settings. Choose automatic dryness control or variable timed dry. An extra large, reversible swing door makes loading and unloading easy. The powder-coated top, lid and drum are durable to resist rust.

I bought at home depot and was told it is made by a popular maker(either whirlpool or maytag-can't remeber now). had it for 15 months and it quit working. Called admiral and was put on hold for 30 minutes each time with no response. I called a repairman and it would cost $212 to have it fixed almost as much as what I paid new!!!

we're a small household, and the size is perfect. i use the energy setting for drying, and it's great. the lint trap fills up quickly, which i take as a good sign; darks have no white flecks. it's not a huge drum- it does take several rounds to dry a king size comforter.

This dryer was a perfect fit for my family. The washer and dryer at our house runs almost non stop every day. I was worried that because I had a small budget any dryer I got would be of poor quality. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived though. The inside was much bigger than I thought it would be. I love the dry sensor, it is so nice to go downstairs to get the DRY laundry for once! It is also a very quiet machine. I also have to mention the professionalism of the delivery drivers. Two very nice, friendly, and helpful guys. They had the old dryer out and the new one in quickly and did a quick review of the features for me. They went out of their way to clean up after themselves and were pleasant to chat with. Overall, my experience with Home Depot from ordering to delivery to using the machine was a really good one.

I thought the value was great for the price. This dryer is large, and dries clothes quickly. My work has become way faster and easier. The store hauled away my old dud dryer and installed this one free. I can't believe how much more efficient this dryer is. I would have bought one months ago if I knew. There is a sensor setting which shuts off the dryer once the clothes are dry. I only wish it had a buzzer but I am very happy.

We got this on sale for a great price on black Friday. Good thing too because its not worth much. It Drys cloths well, so i guess that's all it has to do. The only real problem is the thing rattles loudly. These are very simple and tried & true design inside. This dryer has been sold under many names for almost 2 decades now. Parts are cheap and after warranty is out, its easy enough to fix yourself. If you spend a few more bucks your really only getting a buzzer or some other feature you really don't need.

This dryer is great. It is huge inside, and can accomodate a big load, and dries it fast. I like the Energy Saver Sensor option, and having the lint screen on top. The installers were polite, talented, and very easy to deal with. I am very happy with this purchase.

Purchased this from Home Depot in June 2009. Started having problems after 18 months. It just stopped drying. Of course it was out of warranty. However, I called Home Depot and Whirlpool to complain about the substandard quality. At our expense, the timer was replaced and that seemed to help for a few months. It's back to not drying again. Now it takes 3 cycles to dry one load of towels. I will never buy another Whirlpool product again. My last dryer (another Store's brand) lasted for 14 years. This one lasted at best for 18 months. Very angry..... If I could leave 0 stars for the rating, I would.
