Wow, this is what i have to say. We had a top of the line kenmore, but it died. so i went to home depto and bought this washer. I have washed 4 loads tonight and it works better than our kenmore did. i will always go with maytag.

obviously not your top of the line maytag because of the reasonable price, however, this product delivers top of the line results. The options available for washing, e.g. water levels, temperatures, type of load, add to the value. I am totally impressed. I have never owned a maytag wash machine before - usually went with whirlpool/kenmore products. I am definitely sold on this one.

I had a Maytag and when it was time to replace it I did a lot of research, ie cost comparison, brand comparison etc. In the end I came back and bought another Maytag and am so happy that I did.
Home Depot's customer service was wonderful, they answered any question I had and was always helpful and courteous when I was in the store ( I probably visited the store four times before finally making up my mind).

No more Laundromat!

Wash your clothes at home with this Maytag.
It is a basic model but it is a work horse. With two adults and two athletic teenagers there is always laundry to be washed. With a machine at home I could do laundry every night, but I don't. I have washed 15 pairs of jeans in one load and they have come out clean and decently spun dry. This machine will also clean a twin or full size linen bed set - sheets pillowcases and comforter.

I do not use all of the features of the washer. I have switched to washing only in cold water and only doing laundry when I have a full sized load. This machine does a great job with cold water and a full load of laundry.
