The KOHLER Archer Elongated Toilet Bowl Only in White features an elongated bowl and a 2-1/8 in. trapway. This toilet bowl is made of Vitreous China. For added comfort, the bowl has a 16-1/2 in. rim height. Combine this toilet bowl with the K-4493 Archer toilet tank to create K-3517 Archer Comfort Height elongated toilet.

We just purchased two Archer toilets. The first was bought about a week ago, My husband and I were so pleased, we went back and got a second! We never thought we'd be so happy about a toilet. The design is attractive and unique. It's operating performance is just as impressive. The workers at the Home Depot store that helped us were wonderful as well.

I selected this to replace two "ancient" toilets that constantly wasted water. The toilet has a very impressive look. It doesn't appear to be comfort height (meaning it doesn't look bulkywhen installed). It works very well and uses less water than the old ones. It also refills very quickly. I am very pleased with the style and function.

When is a Toilet not a Toilet

When it's made by Kohler, and is part of the Archer series. I must say, I was first attracted to this solely based on looks. I didn't care about the flushing power, the load capacity, or the amount of water it held; it was a superficial relationship from the very beginning. Man, was I incredibly happy to realize that brains and brawn followed beauty.
This toilet is amazing. It was incredibly easy to install, looks fantastic, and flushes like a dream. I love the fact that the handle is on the side, and faces downward. I love the lines, the simplicity, and the sheer brilliance this thing captures.
An added bonus was finding that there is a whole "Archer" series made by Kohler, including sink and shower faucets, towel racks, and a toilet paper holder. Needless to say, after my experience with the toilet, I've since purchased and installed the whole set, and could not be happier.

Distinctive design, comfortable height, exceptional flushing capability. Meets our needs in style and function.
We also like the water saving feature. Plus, the tank design with its "No bolts through the tank mounting design" is vastly improved from traditional commodes from the past from all manufacturers.
It helps to plan ahead when ordering this item online, as I had my bathroom out of service for a couple weeks when the first toilet arrived in hundreds of pieces and a 2nd had to be ordered. The 2nd unit arrived undamaged about a week later. The lesson learned: don't remove old toilet if possible until you're sure the replacement has arrived in good condition.
Despite the snafu, Home Depot Customer Service was excellent is rectifying the problem.
