I bought my grill about a year ago. It is not suitable for outdoor use as it rusts very easily; the chrome handles have corroded, the burner guards are rusted through, water drips through the side prep areas into the drawers.
We still enjoy it, just disappointed by the quick decay.

bought the grill on sale for a "built in" project. It has worked well for that and I have cooked on it 5 times now. I have no complaints so far. Slight modifications for my use and it was better than expected.

After looking at grill islands many times the price of this unit, I haven't had a single regret about choosing to purchase this one. Showed up on time & the driver dropped it off the pallet jack on my back patio, saving some SERIOUS work. Assembly was straightforward & fairly easy (have someone to help, as it's a hefty unit) and everything works as advertised.

I purchased this item about couple of months ago. As others have said it would have been nice to have a cover. I tried to light the searing burner with its lighter, it does not light but it lights with match. I will have to call the factory to find out the reason for this. Only back portion of the grills get hot and front stays cooler. The flavoring plate is so flimsy, it appears that it will break after few uses (I hope not). Side burners are great. Have not used warmer yet, it should be good during parties. Too heavy to handle which is a blessing in back yard during heavy winds that it will not blow away.

I bought and used the Charmglow gourmet grill
model # 8108750s It good grill but the problem is that there is no cover while cooking.
If there is a cover that can be adapted I would gladly buy it. The heat goes away quikly ,especially if there is a little wind. it prbably works well inside the house but then why would I buy an outdoor grill?

The grill was delivered and the driver was extremely accomodating as far as placing the grill where it was convenient for us.
The grill was packaged well and somewhat easy to assemble. You will need two people. One to help you and then to help you eat dinner you just cooked on the grill.

Grill features are so convenient. Its like having the kitchen outside with you. Don't need to run back and forth to the refrigerator or oven. Everything is right at your fingertips. THe overheat lighting is such a great feature. Make the night time bbq's easy.
I would recommend this grill to anyone who enjoys grilling and wants to have the luxury of all the features.

I have enough neighbors over that the large cooking surface is ideal. Issues I have read regarding the hot spots are actually irrelevant. I have used charcoal grills and gas grills and there is not one manufactured that does not have hot spots.
Use the warmer areas for faster cooking or more well cooked meats. Cooler areas for more rare meats. Learn to use the areas for appropriate temps.
The side burners are fantastic! I have not learned how to use the searing burner yet, but look forward to it.
I agree with the other poster that an accessory fan under the light hood would be a nice addition.
Also, an accessory lid, similar to an overturned wok would make capturing the heat easier. Similar to closing the lid on other styles of grills.
It is HEAVY! But then again, I am not worried about summer storms overtuning the grill.
I bought this grill on sale (Actually a Christmas present from my significant other) and found the value it represents does nothing more than reinforce how fantastic this Luxury Gourmet Cooking Island is!

This grill is everything I have ever wanted in a grill. Its amenities are impressive and well worth the money. As for the burner comments made by others. It is a "U" shaped burner. There will be hot spots and cooler spots. With the amount of BTU the burners throw you can cook on the entire surface. You need to be a little patient and enjoy your grilling experience. The grill offers the best of everything. The only thing I would include is a fan on the same mounting surface the lights are on. Other then that this is a dream come true.

Just got my new bbq and love it . Read the other reviews of course the back cooks more its a u burner theres more flame in the back . I really cant find any floors in this bbq love it and looking foward to using it all summer . If your looking for a good universal bbq that can be used for cooking , and then slide the covers and have a great bar this is for you.

Very nice grill, all the amenities. Easy to assemble. Back of the burner does get hot faster than the front of the burner, but once the grease starts dripping, it's all good. Refrigerator is a nice touch along with the warming draw. Be careful, that drawer really gets hot. Also I would run a dedicated circuit for this grill. Fridge, warmer and lights added to another circuit might trip your breaker. All depends on the wiring in your home...Enjoy...

We have a large family and thought that this grill would be perfect for us. We have used it twice, and are very disappointed. If it did not weigh so much I would haul it back myself. The grilling area seemed impressive but once you realize only the back half actually gets hot enough to cook on you are left waiting. I am glad that it comes with a warming drawer, I will need it if I plan on any outdoor parties. The grill looks awesome but performance is lacking.
