Single-Zone Charcoal Grill
The Brinkmann Single-Zone Charcoal Grill is a heavy-duty steel grill and smoker with an adjustable charcoal grate. You can cook for a crowd with 778 sq. in. of cooking surface. The porcelain coating on the cast-iron cooking grates and warming rack makes cleanup a snap. 2 side tables, 1 with a drawer, and a lower storage cabinet keep all your utensils and tools within easy grasp.

this grill is off the hook, got my Husband one for his B-day (it's not until Sept.) So I gave too him early he LOVE it so much he didn't mind TRASHING out the old grill!!! If you want to talk about the price? The price IS RIGHT.

I bought this grill a couple months ago and hoped the other reviews I read about it were real and honest. I had Home Depot do the assembly (it was free!) because I've assembled more things in my life than I care to admit, and had a friend help me get it home. I followed the instructions to "cure" the grill. So far this is the best grill I've ever used. It cooks fantastically, quick even cooking, easy to clean the cast iron grill grates, and love the ability to raise and lower the charcoal tray. It says not to use pre-soaked charcoal and that's for a reason! So, heed that warning. Regular brick charcoal is okay, but don't over soak. Haven't used the hardwood charcoal recommended yet, but will soon. My first impression tasting my first meal on it was "Wow!" Just make sure you use a long handled grill brush to clean the grates because this grill burns really hot! And I mean HOT! The only part I find difficult to do, because I've never owned a grill such as this, is to maintain temperatures with the lid down. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it, but this is by far a very good grill for the money. There's a rotisseri accessory you can buy for this grill as well. Definitely want to keep this grill covered when not in use and I plan on covering it completely for the New England winters as I don't want this baby to rust! That's the only downfall I'd see happening if you leave it in the rain once too often or don't cover or protect it. Only one other issue - the drawer doesn't stay "up" when it's opened. Not sure if that's the way it was assembled, but I'm working on that too. I'm hoping to get years out of this grill.

We bought this grill on July 3 this is the third time I've used it and the paint is coming off the top and the vent closers are melted. I did read the other reviews and I'm wondering if mine is a defect!

I gave this grill to my husband last year for our anniversary. He LOVED this grill. He never took much pride in cooking before he got this grill. Now he even makes homemade marinades and rubs. And an added perk is the grill is impressive to look at too.

This product is a true owork horse! Don't let the lack of intructions for putting it together get you down. I completed the assembly without instructions in about a hour. Once I fired it up I couuld not have been more delighted. The large capacity surface is great for large gatherings and still easy enough for just dinner for two. I happy I choose this grill.

This is a great value. Excellent grill. Good Instructions. All parts included. Easy to assemble. We bought this grill for grilling and smoking. The meat and veggies were perfect. I like the storage it provides as well as the side counter for food placement. The swivel rollers makes it easy for moving and the brake features on the rollers is a plus. Wasn't bad for cleanup. Just a great grill!

really like the size of this charcoal grill. big and roomy plus warming tray. the only bad thing is, we used it the very 1st night we got it, and the next morning after it was cooled down, we were cleaning it and noticed that most of the paint on the backside was melted off. shocked us.

The cast iron grill surface and the fact that you can raise and lower your coals are what makes this the absolute best grill on the market. Not to mention the large cookin surface. I have owned this grill for over 5 years and I am about to buy my second. If your enjoy cooking with charcoal you will love this grill. The one I have had for 5 years is still good just been in the weather uncovered and needs sprucing up. I have ordered parts from Brinkman to replace charcoal tray and grate. That and some paint and it will be good as new. I do recommend buying the cover.

This grill is a great value for the price.I just bought this grill for my husband's birthday and he loves it. I noticed that it is taller in height than the usual round grills and makes it much more comfortable to stand and cook. I like the cooking surface and the way it is made makes it less likely for anything to fall through. Four swivel rollers for easy moving.The side tables are great and one storage drawer on the left. The right side table looks like a drawer, but it is just for hanging utensils on. I gave a four star rating for two reasons.#1 there was a cotter pin missing that is needed for adjusting the charcoal tray up and down. #2 the drawer on the left will not completely close, but closes enough that it is not very noticable. The pros out weigh the cons so I would recommend this grill for the price and I got free shipping.

excellent grill ... very heavy ... good instructions ... easy to assemble .. will take some time thought .. 1-2 hours ...will need two people for some of the assemble .. will take a little time to figure how to best set and control the temperature .. 5 sets of vents to control the air flow ... the only down side (if you consider it a down side) is the weight of the 2 grates ... very heavy duty but very hard to move because the grill is split in two piece .. if grill was split into 4 it would have been much easier to season and clean ...

I bought this grill for my husband for his birthday and it's his new toy. He always wants to grill everything now. It took some time for him to put it together but it is sturdy and a great buy for a charcoal gill this size. I searched high and low and this was the best choice. It definitely needs to be oiled periodically to avoid rusting and clean up takes some time but well worth it!

We love our new grill. Hubby had it together in no time flat and we have been grilling on it ever since. It is great. The inside of the grill is very roomy and the drawer is great. I have 3 friends that ran out and bought one just last week after a BBQ at the house.

This is the best built, best performing charcoal grill below $200. To bad it burned up. I cleaned the fire box, ash and grease, prior to each use. Occasionaly (over the course of almost two years) after placing food on the grate and closing the lid, residual grease ignited and resulted in an inferno within the fire box. These "flame ups" are why I gave up on gas grills. This time I lost the meat, the plastic components melted and paint peeled. I can't imagine scraping the grill down to the metal and losing the seasoning, but I guess unlike other products I have owned this one was unforgiving. Great grill but be on guard for grease fire in the fire box.

I recently purchased my B.G. and after reading many of the reviews i thought it best to go to my Local H.D. store and lay my hands of it. I was not disappointed, i have not had any problems with mine (i brought one that was already put together) cooking wise, however the handles on the draw were not put together with the right screws, but this was somthing that all the ones i saw had (i have some extra draw handles laying around and will put them on, customizing my GRILL). We have a big family-12-so i need a grill that could do a lot at once and this grill did not disappoint. Buy one and try it for yourself..............

This is THE BEST grill ever! I would recommend it to anyone! Don't look at anything else because of the price. It's worth EVERY penny! I bought two, one was a birthday gift, the other was for me. Everyone who has used either of the grills was hooked! and wanted one of them. It has every feature (and more) that I wanted in a charcoal grill. GREAT JOB BRINKMANN! You can't outdo this one!!!!!!!! Gas grill people, you're completely lost!

I purchased this grill about 3 months ago. The crank part to adjust the charcoal grate has already broken. Also there is a big gap in the back of the bbq were the lid meets the body that lets out a lot of heat and smoke. Other than that the grill is great.

This grill is worth more than $199. easy to clean and a great none stick surface. but the direction was very lame and not useful. if your not a builder let homedepot put the grill together for you. Other than that no problem with the grill make some great ribs & Chicken

I read the reviews before I bought this grill. Taking all reviews with a grain of salt I shelled out the $200 bucks. Took 2.5 hours to put together by myself. Cured it that evening and barbecued beef ribs and a brisket the next day. Personally, I think I got my money's worth although I agree a few improvements would be useful. The long slot opening at the back of the grill should be covered to prevent heat loss and the ash collector doesn't prevent some ash from hitting the bottom shelf on the inside of the unit. Expect to clean up some ash if you purchase the grill. The food cooked perfectly and the grill looks great as an addition to my backyard. I do think Home Depot should carry the Brinkmann rotissierie for this grill instead of having to order one. Like the other reviewer stated, some minor modifications if you are handy with tools and metals will overcome those minor shortcomings but in my opinion nothing in this world is perfect. Otherwise this is a great product compared to others I looked at before I bought my grill. My advice, shop around, read the reviews and then make your own decision. I am happy with my decision and will be grilling again next weekend for sure. Happy grilling to all!

LOVE MY BRINKMANN... had the old 810-3214 for 4 years. The first 2 years I cooked EVERY MEAL on the grill from April thru Sept - 7 days a week. Even did a cake and pancakes. After 4 years the cooking grates need to be replaced, but I couldn't find them locally, and we were expecting company, so decided to buy a new one and donate the old one.... the updates are FANTASTIC. All the little things I wish the old one had, the NEW ONE DOES.... great storage, and sturdy side tables. I'm going to get a retofit smoker attachment to add to it this week ! THANKS BRINKMANN... you have a customer for LIFE !
