Get This and You will Grill Everynight!!!!,
September 27, 2009
"We love our new grill. Hubby had it together in no time flat and we have been grilling on it ever since. It is great. The inside of the grill is very roomy and the drawer is great. I have 3 friends that ran out and bought one just last week after a BBQ at the house."

"I purchased this grill about 3 months ago. The crank part to adjust the charcoal grate has already broken. Also there is a big gap in the back of the bbq were the lid meets the body that lets out a lot of heat and smoke. Other than that the grill is great."

Great Grill, Great Price. Grill On!!!,
May 21, 2009
"I read the reviews before I bought this grill. Taking all reviews with a grain of salt I shelled out the $200 bucks. Took 2.5 hours to put together by myself. Cured it that evening and barbecued beef ribs and a brisket the next day. Personally, I think I got my money's worth although I agree a few improvements would be useful. The long slot opening at the back of the grill should be covered to prevent heat loss and the ash collector doesn't prevent some ash from hitting the bottom shelf on the inside of the unit. Expect to clean up some ash if you purchase the grill. The food cooked perfectly and the grill looks great as an addition to my backyard. I do think Home Depot should carry the Brinkmann rotissierie for this grill instead of having to order one. Like the other reviewer stated, some minor modifications if you are handy with tools and metals will overcome those minor shortcomings but in my opinion nothing in this world is perfect. Otherwise this is a great product compared to others I looked at before I bought my grill. My advice, shop around, read the reviews and then make your own decision. I am happy with my decision and will be grilling again next weekend for sure. Happy grilling to all!"

GREAT UPDATE TO OLD #810-3214,
April 22, 2009
"LOVE MY BRINKMANN... had the old 810-3214 for 4 years. The first 2 years I cooked EVERY MEAL on the grill from April thru Sept - 7 days a week. Even did a cake and pancakes. After 4 years the cooking grates need to be replaced, but I couldn't find them locally, and we were expecting company, so decided to buy a new one and donate the old one.... the updates are FANTASTIC. All the little things I wish the old one had, the NEW ONE DOES.... great storage, and sturdy side tables. I'm going to get a retofit smoker attachment to add to it this week ! THANKS BRINKMANN... you have a customer for LIFE !"

Not all it's cracked up to be,
April 9, 2009
"Let me give the positives before I mention what is wrong.
1)Nice size and layout
2)Nice features
3)Assembly was not bad at all
4)The cooking grates in this pit are very nice and heavy duty
Here's the bad:
1)Very thin metal even on the charcoal grate (will burn out quickly)
2)Very big airgap between lid and the pit located at the back, so NO REAL air control.
3)The adjustable charcoal grate failed the very first time due to a very inferior metal tab put in place. Once you heat it up and get the weight of the carcoal on it, you can forget about raising it.
Fortunately for me, I can do some metal fabrication. If I could not, I'd return this pit after the first use. I will reinforce or replace the tab so that I can adjust the charcoal grate once again like it was meant to do. Also, I will install a piece of sheet metal on a hinge in the back so that it covers the BIG hole that was ignored when designed.
Notes: This pit's designers had good intentions and some things are well thought out. But, I think the thin metals and oversight on some key items make this a hit-or-miss with purchasers. The picture make it look better than it is and I'm being generous with 3 stars. More like 2-2.5. Hope this review is helpful"

Brinkmann Charcoal Grill...just love it!,
August 14, 2008

"This Brinkmann grill is the greatest. I never have been very good at grilling, but using this grill everything is cooking up to perfection. The best feature is being able to turn a crank and raise or lower the charcoal to control the amount of heat that you need. Cleaning out the ashes from the last cookout is a snap.
This unit is rather heavy, but with the casters it moves around very easily. Takes a couple of hours to assemble, instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Quality of this grill is fantastic!!
The cooking grates are very solid, and since you can add your charcoal thru the front door, you really don't have to remove them.
Have not cleaned the grates after 6 uses so far as the flames seem to burn everything off completely from the last cookout.
The thermometer on the front is very large and easy to read your air temperature inside. The grates sit down about a half inch or so from the top of the grill, which means no more hot dogs or chicken legs rolling off the grill.
With the 2 very handy shelves on each side, this unit is rather wide. Measure your area first! There are other nice features as well and I have found nothing that I don't like about this grill. I don't think I will need another grill for many years to come."

Versatile and capable, fantastic deal.,
August 8, 2008
"I would put this grill up against a $700 Bar B Chef any day. Between the crank adjusted fire box, all the vents, temperature gauge, and front loading fuel door I have the control of a gas grill with the flavor of charcoal. Extra-nice features include the heavy iron grates and a temperature gauge with actual numbers, not just "cool", "hot", and "really hot". For cool smoking put a cheap electric hot plate in the bottom with a pan of your favorite chips. There's plenty of room for the food and for the smoke to develop flavors."
