Fiesta Blue Ember, NG Unit - First Time Use,
August 10, 2008
"The grill can rapidly get to 450 deg F. But in trying to cook pork ribs I could not throttle the grill anywhere below 300 deg F. I could, of course, cut off one or more of the three burners, but I am not sure if this will create an uneven temp across the grill. My sure fire solution was to cut back on the gas from my own natural gas outlet, but I don't think many of customers will have this ability.
With all the glowing reports I read on this site and others I was convinced that rotisserie cooking was a given since there is the widely advertised rotisserie burner. But unlike most of Fiesta's competitors who include the rotisserie kit, I was disappointed to find on opening the shipping box that Fiesta does not include the rotisserie kit itself. Then going to the Fiesta website I cannot find any rotisserie kit listed nor even any recommended third party kits. I would be disappointed when I call them this coming Monday to find from Fiesta that I will be directed to find some generic kit. At the very least Fiesta should provide a mounting kit for the motor.
The jury is still out on this Blue Ember Grill."
