"okay heres the deal, I had an 7 year old BBQ grill that was my favorite. the burners were shot, starting to rust through but I kept using it till My wife told me it was time to let go, time to go shopping, she was going to buy me any BBQ I wanted as a fathers Day gift, but there was a catch. I couldnt spend over $600.00! That was a bummer! ohh well I would just keep old faithful till I found my new lsss than $600.00 Dream BBQ!
Well I searched for nearly 3 months and I thought I was never going to find the right one. it had to be just right, and I wanted a certian side cabinit also, since I planned to build it into a outdoor kitchen, but built ins are way more expensive.
So, I went to Home Depot many times and many times I passed this grill up, just didnt think it was good enough for less than $370.00 I mean I had 600.00 I could spend, why not try to get the best I could find. Well I was there again today at home depot, and this BBQ Grill caught my eye for some reason. I started looing and it really had all the features I was looking for. I second guessed my self a few times but was drawn back to see more of the details. the store had 2 left in stock, both were floor models already assembled. I was not sure if I wanted one that people have been playing in the store or not, but talked to the person in charge and said that he had the same Grill and Loved it! it was missing 2 knobs and was pretty dirty from being a floor display, they took 10% off and swapped some knobs from another floor model to make mine complete. I purchased the grill and took it home, it cleaned up very nice with little effort, the stainless exterior shines!! this is a very solid build unit, heavy duty. I fired it off, all burners lit first try, even the side and rotisserie all on the first try. I left all the burners on for 15 minuted to bake any remaining oils or chemicals off the unit. I came back to check it out and the tep gauge was at 675 degrees, WOW thats a hot grill!
I let it set for a while, then preheated it again, and we had a tri Tip ready to BBQ , we decided to use the rotisserie, it worked flawlessly, very quiet, smooth, and very well cooked meat. This was the best Tri Tip I have ever cooked, and I cook one every other week or so. I used a drip pan under the rotisserie and the grill never even got dirty. tri Tip was ready in about 40-45 minutes, and was very evenly cooked and still juicy.
I really enjoyed this grill, it was used within an hour of coming home from the store, and in my opinion worth every penny, and much less that I was wanting to spoend. I just couldnt find a grill I liked untill I really looked at this one.
strongly recommened many times over.
I am very happy with this grill!!"
