My husband and I bought an Amana washer about a month ago and we just love it. I have not had any problems with it so far and our clothes come out really clean. I also like how it beeps and plays this cute little tune when your clothes have finished wahsing. I would recommend this washer to anyone that wants to buy a reasonable price front loader washer that does a great job cleaning your clothes.....

First I wll say that I just recently bought both the washer and dryer and have no complaints on the dryer at all, but I cannot say that about the washer. Least of all, it is very easy to turn on. If I barely bump it, it remembers the last cycle and can activate it. I believe if I breathed on it hard, it would come on. Too sensitve. 2nd issue is that even the shortest cycle takes 29 minutes with the average load taking almost an hour. If you need to do a lot of laundry in a shirt time, it is not going to happen. I have heard this is is standard with all front loaders but since this is the first, I am not sure. The biggest problem is the vibration when it spins. We bought the anti vibration pads because of the reviews but it still shakes so much that you better not set anything on top of it. I would hate to see how it is without the add on pads. As for for the wringing out and cleanliness of the clothes, my old Kenmore top loader did a better job. I just hope the savings with this machine counts for something but since it takes almost an hour to do a load, I cannot see how it saves on electricity. Maybe it saves on water but not electric. I am very disappointed with the washer yet I love the dryer.

Purchased washer just a few weeks ago. Extremely pleased withn performance and features. Very little vibration on spin cycle very quiet on all cycles. Water usage very very low. Buttons very sensitive but easy to reset.Delivery service very knowledgeable, professional and helpful to make sure that we were satisified with installment and product. Cost very ecomomical!!!!

I needed a machine that could wash my jiu-jitsu gis. The last front load i used couldn't do 2 at a time, and actually broke the machine. Gi's are very heavy. With his machine i can wash 2 at a time, with no problem at all. only problems with this machine are if you accidentally turn it off, you can't start from where you left off.

This washer has been a great little unit. It cleans well, and hasn't given us any trouble in the year and half we have had it. It holds our king sized comforter and handles large and small loads equally well! Overall, a very good buy at a reasonable price.

My order was placed online i was very pleased how fast it arrived. the delivery team was so nice and pleasant very friendly professionals. I was called before the time to confirm and they arrived exaclty planned and set it up. I have used the washer over 45 times so far and very pleased. I wish i would have spent money on a front loader years ago. My laundry comes out so clean. Happy very happy with pruchase.

Have had this product for almost on year now and could not be happier. I have not had any issues with it. It is quiet, but does a great job. Also very gentle on my delicate clothes. Fantastic spin cycle cuts down on dryer time. Have recommended to many friends and family.

This machine is amazing! You don't have to use much soap, and it uses very little water. The clothes are much cleaner than they were with my old machine. The clothes aren't very wet when they are done either. I was worried about the reviews I read about how easily the buttons were to bump. No worries though, you can lock the control panel so all is good. Plus it is very nice if you have kids because they can't change your settings. Another plus is how quiet this machine is. I recommend it to everyone! You won't be disappointed!

Leaked after ONE year and 2 days!

I bought this washer based on its reviews and an article in Consumer Reports. Though it was not in the upper tier of recommended models due to the spinning noise they use as a measure, it did not apply to me as I keep it on the ground floor of my house and the floor of the room is concrete so all functions were quiet and vibration free.
The sole undoing of my not giving this a FIVE star rating is this leak, no more than 8-16 ounces in a quick cycle (29 minutes) which came about 2 days after the warranty period expired.
I had long discarded Amana's (and others) unsolicited offers of an extended warranty but if I were to somehow receive one now, I would buy it but read very carefully what the "waiting period" if applicable would be.
I am still not a fan of extended warranties as they are usually poor investments but in this case it would have been prudent.
However, other than this "small" problem, the machine is a breeze to operate and does a wonderful job.
My recourse now is to place a chamois rag at the base of the floor to absorb the water.

Love Love this washer also purchased dryer to match. No probs and washes clothes wonderfully. My brother had another brand, this cleans much better and would never go back to top loaders.

I can't believe how wonderful this machine is so far I gotten my first water bill after using it for only half a month, and it's already saved me $9.00. It washes so quite and doesn't viberate the mobile home at all! They did put my hot water line into the cold so I called and they came back the next day to fix it, and that was on a Sunday. Home Depot people are great!!! Thanks so much for the washer and service, Amana thank you also.

This machine is fantastic for the price. The only problem we have had, is that you have to be careful not to lean against the controls while walking by it, but the reset process is very easy if that does happen. It cleans the clothes well, and is very easy to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent front loading washing machine at an excellent price.

I purchased this set after visiting my sister in law who has them. She does 3 loads of wash per day and has had this set for a year. I bought it and have used it for three weeks. It is quiet, the clothes come out clean and smell so fresh. I have had no problems.

I replaced a twenty-five year old top loader with this unit. When I first saw it, I dismissed it because of what seemed like a ridiculously low price after all the sales and rebates were considered. However, I went home and read the reviews and was suprised by the very high rating consumers gave it. I bought it and I am amazed at how little water and electricity it uses while getting clothes cleaner then my old machine. The only drawback to a large family would be the 3.5 cu ft tub size. It is perfect for a couple or small family. I highly recommend it.

I bought the washer and dryer set from home depot a month and and LOVE IT!! I have used them almost everyday since and havent come across any problems really other than the detergent tray does seem to leak sometimes just a small bit of water after it rinses but its not even enough to reach the floor. I just love how clean the clothes come out. I would def. recommend this set. great price and has a lot of awesome features.

I have purchase this washer close to a month ago and we love it.... I purchased it online at the online special price with free shipping and haul away of old washer....the delivery was great ...just a few minutes and the new washer was checked and the old washer gone..... I love the various cycles and i love when the washing is complete my clothes are almost dry..... my clothes have been cleaner and have come out in better shape then my last clothes washer which was a 6 year old top loader.... i don't think i will ever go back to a top loader once i have tried this one... the energy and water savings are a HUGE PLUS and BONUS with owning this machine.....I highly recommend this Washer!!!!

Very happy with our new washer from the time we ordered online to the delivery personel that were pleasant and professional in removel and assemble of new washer. My wife and I have been using washer for only a week so far and are impressed with the amount of clothes we can but in the washer at one time the clothes come out drier from the spin cycle which cut back on the drying time Dislkes would be that will may want to purchase bottom part of the washer to raise up the heighth of the door off the floor bending down more to remove clothes all in all very happy
