"Its a pleasure using this dryer. Its quick, easy and very efficient. The dryer offers many settings so you can choose the option which fits your load size, and the sensor drying is awesome. Its nice knowing when your load is done, the cloths are dry, and I'm not wearing the iron out."

Lint screen needs improving,

"I have been using my Amana dryer for 2 1/2 months. Each time it is used, I clean out the lint screen, but there isn't usually much there. Most of the lint goes up my vent pipe. Every other week I have to pull the vent cover off outside and empty the lint from there."

"I purchased this dryer paired with the Amana 3.5 Cu. Ft. Super Capacity Front Load Washer and have been extremely happy with both. I'm amazed how quickly my clothes, towels and sheets are dried with this dryer. I have repeatedly checked my clothes, especially jeans and towel loads, to see if they are still damp since I can't believe that they would be dry in the regular cycle time of around 45 min. Every time everything comes out perfectly dry and wrinkle free. I am a single guy and have not used any of the advanced features and probably won't so this is the perfect dryer for me. I would recommend this dryer to any one that is looking for an inexpensive dryer that will get laundry dry fast."

"This is a very nice dryer! I do a lot of laundry (for a guy:-)) and I appreciate having a nice dryer that works well! Lots of optional settings, and it does a great job. It's been reliable so far. The only way to improve it would be if it were energy star rated."

"So far, this dryer has been great. H.D. installation was excellent--they even tried to help me with the new vent tubing which took up more space than expected behind my unit. I like the variety of cycles, and because the washer spins things so dry already, things seem to dry pretty quickly. My only problem was with a large comforter which didn't dry well, but it was probably too large anyway and needed to air dry. It is also very quiet and I have had no other problems. I'm very pleased so far...."

"I finally had my dryer delivered and its great! has many different drying options, including wrinkle guard, and it works great! the dry time is fast, and so far has saved on my electric bill. has different noises it makes to let you know it has been activated, and completed, and also gives you the option to lock the controll panel to keep the little ones from playing with it."

"So far I am very pleased with this dryer. I really like the large capacity. The Sensor feature is a good one. Choosing this feature seems to do a better job of the clothes being dry than me choosing a cycle. I am still experimenting with this idea. The look of the machine is appealing. I have only had it a few weeks, however, at this point I would highly recommend this dryer."

"I bought this dryer with the matching front load washer. It was on sale so i had to get them for the low price I paid. It was installed and was used that very night. It was quiet to the point that you have to be about 4 feet from it to hear it.
The cycles offered are great and don't require reading a novel. The dry time is near perfect and I have not yet had to add more time to dry. The chime is great when it plays a little tune and you dont get that obnoxious buzz at the end.
Overall a superb dryer to get if you can not afford a higher end unit."

Perfectly Dry Laundry Every Time,

"I have owned this unit for about two months and LOVE it. It's the first front load dryer I've ever owned. I bought it with the companion Amana front loading washer.
Every load I dry, the laundry comes out perfectly dry - and not scorching hot like my old dryer. This dryer is very quiet, too. The controls on the control panel are very easy to read and use. The only trouble I have is occasionally shutting off the dryer when I mean to start it - the shutoff button is to the right of the round setting knob. Because I'm so used to pushing the start button on my old dryer, I keep forgetting to push in the round setting knob to start the dryer, and instead I push the little button to the right (which turns the unit completely off). Not a design flaw with the dryer - just something that I have to get used to doing myself. Overall, I love this unit and I'm very happy with my purchase."

"I wanted to get one of these washers for awhile and when i visited my local home depot store the sales clerk took his time with me and answered all of my questions even if they seem to be out in left field. When I got this washer home I was amazed with how quite it was and how the clothes came out almost dry. I have saved $20.00 on my water bill and $50.00 on my electric. I love that I am no longer afraid to open my bills. Thanks grams1"
