I don't typically write reviews, but I was really disappointed with this product. After a year the bottom part of the stand started to cave in and the front doors kept falling out. I kept the BBQ covered except when the wind would occasionally blow the cover off. It should have been more durable for the money. I can admit that it did cook well so why put a great BBQ on a flimsy stand. . .
No, I do not recommend this product.

I purchase this grill from home depot on black friday. I put it together but it took me about one hour because they failed to tap one of the holes where the wheel threads in. The other three were fine. I had to drive to the auto store to purchase a 3/8 tap to tap the hole. Once that was completed the process of putting it together was not bad. The other problem that I have with this grill is that it keeps shutting off due to the wind. We only had a mild brezze but the grill kept shutting off. I went inside the house for about five minutes and when I came back to the deck the gas smell was pretty strong. I am not sure if I will keep this grill if it continues to shut off. Also the ignitor would not ignite so I had to use a lighter. I will see if the ignitors need to be readjusted. Not happy so far.

I don't know about last years model, but I do know that the model that I purchased in June of this year (2008) has rusted. As well, the burners have failed to ignite on numerous occasions. The drip pan has rusted totally through; even though the grill has been covered after each use. The grill is also speckled with rust all over. The flavor bars are rusted. The porcelain coated cast iron grates have rusted in spots where the porcelain had fallen away. I don't believe that the humidity (in Maine) over this past summer, could have possibly been responsible for all of our exsperianced problems with this grill. We are taken it back per Home Depots unconditional guarantee. We will be purchasing a Weber or similar grill. We have made purchases recommended by Consumer Repots one to many times now and most every time we have gotten burned.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great Grill. I received this as an early anniversary gift back in April of 2008 from my lovely wife and have loved everything about it. I got it home in the box and unpacked it. I put it together in about 30 minutes. You will need a helper to actually put the grill on the base when that time comes. Everything went together smoothly, great directions came with it. I fired it up and “broke it in” as recommended, which will take about 30 minutes on the highest heat setting. Now for the details… Pros: It hides the tank in the bottom, securely! So it doesn’t rattle around when moving the grill. It has a ton of storage in the bottom of it, I wish there was a shelving unit or something but still there is a lot of room. It gets hot quick and stays hot. It has very uniform heating except around the very edges where it is just a bit hotter than anywhere else. The light is awesome and covers the entire cooking surface. The outlets are nice if you like to use other appliances with the grill, such as a blender or something. The smoker box works great to add that nice flavor. Very easy to clean, just wipe it down, no more scraping. Its great on the gas too, I grill a lot, like 4-6 times a week and it took 3.5 months to go through the first tank. Cons: In windy conditions you can hear the burners struggling, although up here in Greece, New York near Lake Ontario, where it is always windy, I haven’t had them blow out. The casters could be a bit bigger and I would like to see them made with rubber rather than plastic because they will eventually get ground down while going over pavement. While using the smoker box a lot, I have noticed a discoloration in the steel above the box on the outside of the grill. It makes me wonder if the heat path is being disrupted with the location of the cast iron smoker box. The handle is great although the cast aluminum sides of the hood do get hot where they connect with the handle. The hinge screws which hold the hood to the main unit seem to loosen up even though I try to keep them tight. It didn’t come with a rotisserie kit, but I was able to get one free through Home Depot’s match and beat by 10% deal. There is only one 3-prong hanger for tools under the left side, by the ice bucket, but there are supports for another one on the right side, why not just include one on both sides? OVERALL: Great grill and I would highly recommend to friends and family. I always clean the grill after using it and always store it in the garage. I hope it lasts me a very long time, I wouldn’t trade this for any other grill out there!!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Overall, I am really happy with the grill. Everything works like it is supposed to and it heats up really well. Good looking grill too, except that it did rust in certain areas really quickly. Georgia Grill Guy says it is due to the 430 steel they used to put it together in '08 as opposed to the 304 in '07. I don't know what he's talking about, but I have put the cover on it from the first day it was assembled and it still has specks of rust all over. Also, the side shelves have lots of plastic, so if you put a hot pan or tool on them, they will melt. If you are obsessive about keeping your stuff looking new, you might want to reconsider this grill. If you care more about the food, it's a great grill. Heads up, the rotisserie attachment is not included, but the cover is.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Just a heads up to anyone who may have read a review on this grill that mentioned that it was made with high quality 304 grade stainless steel that will not rust. The 2007 model was 304 stainless, however, in the 2008 model, they have reverted back to low quality 430 stainless steel. The difference is 304 will not rust, as the 430 will rust much quicker. If a magnet sticks to it, it is not 304 stainless. I was able to find a 2007 model from last year still in a store, and beyond the stainless steel issue, I think this is a great grill for the money with all the features on it. If you do decide to purchase a 2008 model, just make sure to cover it every time your done to maximize its life span.

Bought grill May 07 (12 months ago) already put together. Very good quality product and cooks great also. Rotisserie works great. Only minor problem is on EXTREMELY windy conditions but usually can fix by changing angle to keep lit. I had a Weber gas grill for 10 years before this one and the Blue Ember works just as well and even better cause it has more features. Don't forget the good quality cover. Home Depot Emp. helped me find the right size. I expect grill to last me a long time, good value for the dollar, may have to leave it in my will.

i did not buy this grill assembled. i put it together myself. would recomend using a 7/16 socket small ratchet, a 3/8 and 7/16 open and closed wrench, and a 3/8 open and closed wrench, an adjustable wrench, and an screw driver, the instructions were great in how to assemble, and you will need someone to help you put the top & bottom part of the main grill on the stand. was easy for me to assemble and i am handicapped from a heart condition. once i had it all together. I had no problem lighting it up. make sure you take the plastic wrapper off the igniter battery, I then lite it up and burned the burners as manual said and broke it in. cut the heat back an grill a couple hot dogs and toasted the buns. food was great. can not wait till tomorrow to grill some more. for the money, this grill has more bang for the buck than the 1k priced ones, and it came with a rotisary and a smoker box, so far i am 100%+ happy with this grill and hope to have many years use out of it. got a nice grill cover for it too..i read the reviews of others and based my decision on what some said, oh and i have never in my life seen a gas grill that would work right on very windy days.. none do. you control the burners on them days to keep em from burning out. I would recomend this grill to anyone who is interested in buying a new grill at this time or in the future. oh and the light inside works great shows the whole surface.. so if ya buy one have fun. I enjoyed putting it together and cooking a few dogs on it.. look out tomorrow .. gonna grill a lot of food.

We are not awed by gadgets, and haven't even used the light or bottle opener yet. That wasn't the selling point for us, it was that everyone we know who has this grill also loves it. We really like the way the grill cooks, no more guessing at how meat is going to turn out- it's just right every time. It's also much sturdier than the other grills in this price range, and we haven't had any problems with it at all. We'd recommend it to anyone.

The problems with this grill caused me to return it to Home Depot. But first, I have to compliment Fiesta on the power of this grill. I had it over 650 degrees ... so, this thing will really sear and cook a steak. And, it has lots of cool features.standard. But, the grill fails in two areas: 1) If you grill in the rain or snow, the water will get into the grease catch ... which is small enough that it will overflow quickly and make a gigantic mess. Essentially, the water runs down the back of the grill directly into the grease trap. 2) The grill was hard to start (yes I had a full tank). This generally happened when it was cold out. Or, if I'd cooked at high temperatures (like when I had to put my wife's steak back on because it was still pink ... yuck 8^). I could of lived w/ problem #2, but the grease trap overflow wasn't acceptable. I looked on a number of bbq blogs and others have had the same problem ... and, Fiesta acknowledged it was a design problem to some of them.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I was totally sold on this grill. With everything it came with, good looks, and the good price. Got it home and setup. Had problems with electric ignition. Center burner would not light. This grill does not do good in a windy enviorment. Burners actually blow out. I live in North Texas where it can be very windy. The wheels are very small for the size of the grill and the brakes don't hold it still. The electrical outlets and lots of space in the bottom are good. Ice bucket is a good idea. Lots of shelf space. Hard to find a cover for it though. So, my overall impression was too many gadets and not enough grill...
