I bought 2 of these, but my house is on a septic system, and they dont seem to flush my kids surprises very well at all. We have to flush 2 - 3 times ( not efficient at all ). Now i am trying to figure out how to modify the flushing system in the Tanks, because I do not want to buy more Toilets.

Bought my first one last summer for the main bath. I was a little skeptical considering the low price of $98. But it has worked fine so we bought another last week for the Master Bath
No issues with complete flushes

Over the past 2 months, I have changed all 3 toilets in my home with this one. The toilet flushes strong, fast and fills back up quickly. This is a great buy for the price! It works great with solids and it has not needed to be plunged like my previous toilets. The ones that came with the house were the contractors brand and I would always have to keep a plunger nearby. That became so irritating. Keep in mind, that if you are replacing the toilet over a ceramic floor with backer board, then be sure to purchase another wax ring. To more specific, a wax ring that is extra thick. You should be able to use the flange bolts that comes with the toilet.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The toilet does what it is supposed to do. Do not use the included "wax ring" - use a "plumber grade" ring with a collar. This assumes you are a "do it yourself" type. Be patient and follow the instructions about the two sets of bolts. I would suggest you replace the skimpy pressed wing nuts with forged stainless steel or strong nylon wing nuts.
Pros: Easy to Use, Performs Well, Looks Great, Great Value, Comfortable
Cons: need better instructions
Yes, I recommend this product.

After a quite lengthy 3 hr install this thing is up and running very nice! I had the most trouble with the bolts leaking that connect tank to toilet.I finally went and bought new bolts and put big rubber gasket on tank instead of bowl as directions state and that solved all my problems.
As far as performance I do not think you will be disappointed! This thing flushes any and everything quite well!! I have used for a couple weeks now and have tried everything to clog it and have had no problems. I have thrown huge amounts of toilet paper in with the usual and it flushes fast and efficient! This thing only uses 1 gal. on a short flush (just pushing lever all the way down for a quick second) and 2 gal. if you hold lever down until tank is empty. I have water set at factory line. It has flushed pretty much everything on 1 gal quick flush....only once did I have to flush twice! Depending on how long you hold lever it flushes anywhere between the minimum 1 gal. to Max 2 gal. I have checked quite a few times so those numbers are pretty accurate. It also looks quite nice and is WAY better than my old round toilet! The seat is not all that bad and works just fine for me...I was going to replace according to reviews and have decided it is completely acceptable...at least for now! It cleans very nicely and looks like it will hold up better than wood seats! I did contact customer service for new bolts for tank and new plastic bolt for seat. They were very nice and sent plastic bolt out right away...received in 4-5 days and tank bolts over a week because they were not in stock. I find this to be acceptable unless you absolutely needed it quicker? Which I was forced to buy new tank bolts to get install done that day.
Pros: Performs Well, Looks Great, Great Value, Easy to Clean
Cons: Difficult to Install
Yes, I recommend this product.

Three weeks ago I installed this toilet to replace a twenty year old one, that was flat out embarrassing. I did not expect much as this one was not very expensive. This toilet has far surpassed my expectations. I am a big guy & I weigh about 330 lbs., & I love to eat. I never need the plunger with this toilet, get the picture?

I purchased this unit after pouring over dozens of different models. I finally went to Home Depot near me and found one I could see. I found this to be a great value with features of units costing 2-3 times more.
What I liked:
Priced Right
Quiet Flush
Chair Height
Elongated seat/lid
Easy to Install
Advise I heeded paid off. Based on other reviews you need:
wax ring (too thin)
Toilet seat (flimsy)
Mounting bolts (heads too small to hold onto retainer ring)
I purchased a no slam lid ~$20, wax ring ~$4 and bolts ~$3 and used them instead of what came with the unit.
Total out of pocket was ~$120 with tax. This is a bargain even with the additional expenses (I recommend the additional wax ring and bolts at very least).
Yes, I recommend this product.

This toilet had all the features I was looking for: a low price, excellent flush, elongated bowl, & chair height seat. And everything you need is in one box down to the wax ring & toilet seat! But I have 2 major complaints - It was not flushing completely until I figured out if you hold the handle down for 3 seconds if flushes very well (doesn't help when you have guests and they don't know that) and the water surface area in the bowl is extremely small making it harder to keep the bowl clean (skid marks). I like an elongated bowl for the larger water surface but this doesn't have it.
Pros: Performs Well, Strong Water Pressure, Good Size & Weight, Great Value, strong flush for a very low flow toilet.
Cons: Difficult to Use, Maintenance, must hold down the handle to get a good flush., very small water surface area.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Toilet was installed and ball valve leaked immediately. Also the top tank rocked. It looks like the tank should sit on two rails, but there is about 1/4" to 3/8" between the rails and bottom of the tank. I called customer service and was told the tank should not rock. I also was told that if I tried to get it to sit on the rails and broke the toilet, it was not a warranty issue. Instructions are sadly laking in the area of installing the tank. I went to local Home Depot and got a replacemnt 3" ball valve for $11.99 This worked. Glacier Bay parts are not stocked at Home Depot, you must get universal or other parts. Also Glacier Bay does not provide a parts list.

ok the only thing that needs to be said is that the seat that comes on this thing is very cheap and has plastic screws. if u want to keep the cheap seat put some glue or something on the seat screw threading and it will stay where it is, otherwise u will be re-tightening them weekly. my recommendation is replacing the seat and i promise u that people will never guess how cheap of a toilet they are sitting on. notice that i rated the value as excellent and i meant it. i've had it for 3 years and its been flawless, if not a little noisy.
Pros: Easy to Use, Performs Well, Easy to Install, Looks Great, Durable, Great Value, Easy to Clean, High Quality, Reliable
Cons: Performance, Maintenance, cheap seat loosens easily

I bought the first toilet like this last year and was so highly impressed with its performance I bought 2 more this time for my 2 other bathrooms.Have had no problems whatsoever and if I needed another one I would not hesitate to purchase another toilet like these. Save money; conserve water usage. My granddaughter's boyfriend installed both of them in about a couple of hours and no, he's not a plumber. Excellent product. Just proves you don't have to spend a ton of money to get what you need. Highly recommend.

I have in my life renovated over 10 bathrooms. I am having a very difficult time understanding why the FUNCTION of bodily waste elimination needs decorator design etc. etc.. I just installed 2 more of the Glacier Bay toilets in my new Florida home. I have them in my NY home too. I have spent upwards of $350 for a toilet (in the distant past) with which I can discern absolutely no difference in function from the Glacier Bay. It is comfort height - I'm 6'2" tall and am tired of having my knees in my face on the traditional "squat on the floor" toilets found in most homes and businesses. The elongated bowl takes just a little more room than a round toilet and is a feature well worth having. Easier for women too according to my wife and 4 daughters. Most importanly - IT DOES WHAT A TOILET IS MEANT TO DO and it does it with a minimum of water and so far HAS NOT CLOGGED ONCE. Is the seat provided thinner than seats you can buy - YUP- but it works and is just as comfortable as any other hard plastic seat - if it ain't broke why fix it?
All in all this toilet is without a doubt a BEST BUY.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Operation was fine once installed with the following improvements –
1. Inspected tank and bowl for defects prior to purchase, had to replace tank and top
2. Purchased a better wax seal than the one supplied
3. Purchased two plastic wing nuts to attach tank to bowl, stamped steel wing nuts will rust
4. Seat has had complaints but was satisfactory
5. Assured bowl was level with shims prior to installing tank
6. Tested bowl wax seal once installed prior to installing tank, with 2 gal. of water
7. Allowed grout or chalk around bowl base to harden prior to removing leveling shims if needed
The tank had defects in the exterior casting and the top was chipped. Unit works nicely since completion with superior flushes.
Yes, I recommend this product.

We've had this toilet for 2 years and love it. I was sceptical about about how it could flush effectively with so little water. It works like a charm. No double flushes at our house ... ever!
My only minor complaints is that we get drips down the side of tank occasionally after a flush.
Be sure to check your local utilities for rebates. We got $100 back!

I installed one of these toilets in my downstairs half-bath, which doesn't get much use. In less than two years, I've already had to replace the valve mechanisms. The flapper is warped and was allowing water to run out - I can't wait to get my water bill after this. The money I saved on the less expensive toilet and the water saver feature will go to replacement parts and my water bill.

I bought two toliets for two different bathrooms I was remodeling.I bought this toliet and an American Standard toliet. The good was this toliet was almost $50 less than the American Standard toliet I purchased. They both were elongated and the handicap models.
I definitely noticed the American Standard has a better flush w/ the same water efficiency( 1.28 gallons per flush.)
I would recommend that you spend the extra $50 or so to buy a better flushing toliet with a better seat.
No, I do not recommend this product.
