The sander, it self, performs very well; the electronic controller is the best feature. However the dust collector attachment is difficult to attach to the body of the sander & my local Home Depot does not stock 6" sandpaper disks this machine uses.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I purchased this sander because it was the highest rated random orbital sander by Fine Woodworking magazine.
It performs flawlessly.
However, the manufacture's box that it came in was totally destroyed because Home Depot sent it in a thin plastic bag with no supporting shipping material. They really should have shipped it in a box. Luckily there was no damage to the sander.

This Bosch sander does the job nice and smooth. The 6 inch covers more ground faster than a 5 inch. I use a vacuum with it, and it works fantastic.
