I purchased this compressor for use in our motor home as well as small jobs around the house and horse property. I have a large compressor in the garage for heavy duty jobs, like painting and running air tools, and don't expect it to do be able to do that.
In the motor home, I run it off shore/park power, or off the 4kw Onan generator, to air up tires (RV, car, and bicycle) and the air bag suspension. The fact that it pulls only a maximum of 4 amps (when starting) makes it ideal for this. It's so frugal on power consumption that it will easily run when attached to a long extension chord with no ill effects so I tend to use a longer chord, rather than a longer hose, when using it.
Around the property, I used it to staple welded wire fencing material to our round rail wood fence. Once again, I could run it off long runs of heavy duty extension chords to reach the far corners of the property with no overheating or other ill effects. I also use it to air up the tires on a tractor which is stored a considerable distance from the house and AC power supply.
I couldn't be more pleased.

Very impressed with the performance of this little air compressor. Has a nice handy handle for carrying and does not take up a lot of room in storage. I follow the directions and not let it just "sit" too long without use. I recommend it highly. Heck of a lot better than the expensive one I had that konked out after three uses.

Works Great If You Don't Use Too Long Of A Hose

I was airing up the 10 ply tires on my truck. With 75ft of air hose, it was a struggle to get 50psi in them. I should have turned the truck around so I could have used my shorter hose. Probably would have worked a lot better. Still, I'm very pleased and feel it will work great for my purposes. Very light. Very quite.

This works great for light-duty jobs such as powering a pneumatic staple guy (which was my intended use for it). However, it is not so good for continuous use, as the tank is fairly small. Pros: lightweight and small enough to be easily portable; good value. Cons: moderately loud, not for extended or heavy use.

I've used this little senco for all kinds of jobs around the house - particularly trim work and recently building a large buffet height cabinet in our kitchen. Everything I used for has gone without a hitch and I really love it! I also bought a senco brad nailer and narrow crown stapler, as well as a used 7/16" crown stapler.
The bigger stapler draws quite a bit more air, and the cfm requirement is too much for this to provide under heavy use... but the narrow crown and brad nailer are a great match.
I'll probably buy the Ridgid twinstack compressor today, but wanted to drop a note that this compressor has been wonderful for many of my needs. At only 27, I have a lot more housework ahead of me - and I think the Senco air compressor will be right there with me for much of that work. It's so handy not having to lug around a big air compressor for a little job!

This is built to last! It's small and light weight. For a trim finisher with a medium to small job this is the one. This is great for a one nailer job. The motor is very quite so if you are in a customers home with them it isn't distrubing to them. It comes with the quick connect already installed on the output line. Every guy that comes by and see's it stops and gives it a good inspection. I love it!

This is plenty good for most home tasks like putting down baseboard and trim. I use this one instead of my bigger one because it's so light. I never have had to wait for it except for blowing air. It won't blow air for more than 30 seconds or so because the tanks is so small. But for any kind of nailing you will love it!

Hello Home Depot and friends,i just wanted to leave some posotive feedback on this outstanding little workhorse of a compressor i recently purchased!
Afine little unit -model #Senco PC1010,and at At 20 pounds it is what i wanted and needed to be able to pick it up in a hurry in one hand and the nail gun in the other hand and run the baseboard trim from room to room.
I was very impressed,i was able to shoot about 8 nails between compressor cycles and at aprox.79 decibals it was a welcome relief on my ears as well.I had done tons of research online and have had many small compressors,hundreds to choose from. So..i decided to just go down to homedepot and see the Senco PC1010 in person .
I was lucky to have had a store attendant who had knowlege of my needs as a finish carpenter and also knew allot about the numbers and cfm on the large amount of compressors. They cleared things up for me right away and i was able to make my purchase relaxed, and enjoyably with a little piece of mind about the good quality of this product.
So thank you home depot and Senco.I really appreciate it.This compressor is holding its own just fine and all is well. Best Regards! "Highvoltage."

BEING A CABINET INSTALLER THIS LITTLE COMPRESSOR IS EXCELLENT FOR MY APPLICATION.THOUGH YOU CANNOT FLY ALONG WITH A BRAD NAILER ITS LIGHT WEIGHT AND SMALL SIZE MORE THAN MAKE UP FOR THIS LITTLE INCONVIENIENCE.I MAINLY USE A PIN NAILER SO IT REALLY DOES NOT AFFECT ME.I HAVE HAD MINE ABOUT THREE YEARS WITHOUT A PROBLEM.WOULD BUY ANOTHER WITHOUT HESITATION.
