I waited awhile before reviewing this composter, although the request for review comes in immediately.. It's not bad, just not great. It was fairly easy to put together and looks pretty good. But after it got filled a little, the sides of the bin came apart. I'm using a bungi cord to hold it together. And My lid doesn't stay open, so I have to hold it open with one hand and dump the scraps in with the other.- holding the top of the kitchen compost container open at the same time. Doable- just not convenient.. I bought it because it was cheaper then most or all of the others, Next time I would buy a big rubber bin and cut out the bottom..
No, I do not recommend this product.

This was remarkably easy for me to put together, despite the early reviews. I was very eager to get this thing together, so I went ahead and attempt to put it together and move it by myself, E-A-S-Y. But in my excitement to put it together on the third panel, I realized that I should stop banging it together with my hands and start tapping it together with my rubber mallet in the shed that I’m working next to. I moved it into three different places before I was satisfied. (Recommendation on moving, don’t grab it by the sides, lift up by the inside top lip and walk S-L-O-W-L-Y.) I also didn’t realize how big this thing was; I totally skipped over the specifications. It’s huge for the sale price of $127, and I can’t wait to try to fill this thing up. DO get a bungee cord for the top. If you live in a windy area you will be running down the street after it or asking your neighbor for it from their yard. Believe it or not it does get wind here.So have fun composting people. Oh yeah really fast delivery. NICE
Yes, I recommend this product.

This bin is easy to put together with 2 or 3 people. It requires no tools or hardware for assembly. Which brings us to its shortcomings - Each of the side panels slides into place. It took 2 or 3 people to line up the panels so we were able to slide them into a locked position. Then we decided we wanted to move it - and it fell apart - so we were back at square one in putting it back together. It only took 10 minutes from Box to Bin so assembly really is easy (but near impossible for one person to assemble alone)
Yes, I recommend this product.

This unit can hold up to 1 cubic yard of material, which falls in the jumbo category for many suburban home owners. It produces good mulch, but don't expect to obtain more than a few cubic feet at a time. Also, the time to produce the compost will vary a lot with what you put in it and the climate in your area.
Two other composters to consider are:
Mantis composT-Twin, and
Urban Compost Tumbler (UCT-9).
Yes, I recommend this product.
