I bought a Q200 for tailgating when they first came out. It worked great for the first year, then it developed a problem with being able to achieve grilling temperature. I changed the pressure regulator and took everything else apart and made sure that the parts were correct and not burned out or corroded.
When I replaced the regulator, I continued to have the same problem with temperature. When starting and until I give up and put food in, the flames are very short and you can put your hand on the lid with no problem. After putting the food on, for some reason, the flames will come up to regular height and it will once again grill like it should. I don't know if it needs grease to kick start it.
It's a great grill, i have the carrying case and the rolling cart, just wish it'd work like it used to.

I bought this smaller weber for our fifth wheel camper. It fits perfectly in our front compartment. I just fold the side tables in and stow it away. Cleaning is a breeze and cooking, starting is awesome. Another great product from weber.

I am a long time Weber fan and never disappointed until the Q200. I wanted a Weber for my RV and purchased the Q200 less than a year ago from Home Depot. I have a 12' hose on my RV propane tank that I've used on other grills and stoves, never had a problem. I hooked up the Q200 recently to the propane hose and the grill would not operate. A fellow camper has the same grill and says there's a problem with the regulator because he's replaced his regulator twice under warranty. I called Weber and they are sending me a new regulator but that I should not use the RV propane hose on this grill because the pressure is higher than the small bottle or regular propane tank. I would think Weber would accomodate the RVer's of the world with a regulator that would work!!! Still love Weber but they really need to fix this problem and do not recommend the Q200 for RVers.

This is the bypass mode if you're using tank and hose. works great to control the burners.. just got mine today and I must say its a little to big for me. Works great tho.
The Weber Q100, Weber Baby Q, Weber Q200, and Weber Q cannot go into bypass when used as sold.
When using an adapter hose with the Weber Q/Baby Q grills, the grill CAN go into bypass just like any other LP grill. Follow these steps to correct it:
Close the LP tank valve
Turn all burner control knobs to the OFF position
Now, start the grill by doing the following:
Open the grill lid
Turn the tank valve until it is completely open
Wait at least 1 minute. Due to the length of the hose (6'), it takes longer for the gas pressure to equalize.
Turn the burner control knob to HI/Start
Press the igniter to light the burner
Turn any remaining burner control knobs to High
When using an adapter hose with the Weber Q/Baby Q grills, the grill CAN go into bypass just like any other LP grill. Follow these steps to correct it:

Poor Weber Customer Service/Returned Product!

I bought a Q200 for $150 at Home Depot, that's a great deal so I bought it. It worked fine/not spectacular. I needed a thermometer and I read that you could purchase a Q220 hood (same base dimensions just taller with a thermometer). I called Weber and I was very surprised at how poor customer service was. Without going into all the details, I was told "we cannot sell you a part for a grill that you don't have, this would void your warranty and jeopardize ALL of our jobs!". I said that's fine I can void the warranty how much is the hood? She stated I couldn't buy the part. It was very disappointing and i decided to vote with my $ and return the grill.

I have only used the grill one time to make steaks. But, I am very happy with the purchase. Cooked great and hot. I can also tell that it is going to be able to cook well in the wind. Great Quality. I am very particular on everything that i purchase and I am very happy with this grill. (Just a little on the heavy side) I do recommend!

The grill has enough surface area to cook burgers and hot dogs for 6 to 8 people, it is easy to clean, and takes up minimal space. I'd recommend the stand that holds it up to standard grill height.

I was pretty skeptical about purchasing this grill at first. I've heard that small grills don't get hot enough and take a long time to cook anything. Rest assured, that is not the case with this bad boy. It cooks just as hot as my previous full size four burner grill.
If you are considering this one, go for it. Just be sure to get the adapter hose for full size propane tanks if you plan on using it regularly.

I needed a new grill for a camping trip and wanted something that was portable and reliable. I read the reviews from this site and noticed that one person complained that the grill wasn't hot enough. I can honestly say that the grill performed exceptionally well. I cooked kielbasa, pork chops, hamburgers and hot dogs without any problem at all. The heat was distributed evenly throughout the grill and cooked the food exactly the way that I wanted it.
I never write reviews for products, but I believe that this grill is an excellent product and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. You won't be disappointed in this grill.

I made the decision to get this bbq grill based on the positive reviews on this page. BIG MISTAKE! Based on how poorly this grill performed, I am very suspicoius of the positive reivews on this page.
I got the grill home started it up and coocked on it a couple of times. I followed the instructions and let the grill warm up for 10 minutes, then I put the hamburgers on the grill. After 30 mintues, the burgers were still not done, and this was on the highest maximum temperature setting. One has to wonder what would cook on any of the lower settings???
Another detail that is not that well designed is the temperature regulator it is too close together.First time I used it, I turned it all the way down to low thinking it was turned off. When I came back next time, it had burned up all the gas. Now, to get an idea of how low the heat is in this unit, I had the grill cover on the grill and that did not burn up even the though the grill was on.
There is only two good things with the grill, the size and the cool look. It is light and very portable, but then again, if you cant cook with it, size does not matter. I guess it would warm your hotdogs if you have time to wait.
I took it back to home depot who was very helpfull taking it back for me.

We bought this online and we were somewhat worried that it might be too small to BBQ Korean style ribs for four people. We tried it as soon as it arrived --and we had no problem cooking 10 strips of BBQ ribs, and it cooked the ribs very fast. I think we can cook 4 portions very easily. Most importantly the ribs tasted great. We are happy with the purchase. We also bought the cart and cover, and I think the cart is the must...

The only thing that is an oxymoron about this portable grill is the weight. I consider it a little heavy for portable, and no latch to keep the lid closed while moving. I bought this grill 2 weeks ago and took it to Fort De Soto Beach here in Florida. It is smaller than my home grill by only 50 sq inches, you can make 6 rib eyes in one shoot yes it is respectability comfortable.
The wind was blowing at the beach and the it held it's temperature beautifully. I am considering purchasing the qcart in the future.
I would highly recommend it this grill to any grill master, it has a very heavy iron grate that makes beautiful sear marks.

This is the best grill I've ever had! No hot spots, easy to clean, light weight enough that I can carry it which surprised my husband. It is heavier than the smaller one but I like that we can cook more on it. It's big enough that we can cook at least 20 hamburgers. Easy to clean too. Food tastes great cooked on this grill and no burning of food. Love the two side tables and that they fold in. I bought the cover to go with it and I am happy with both. Easy to transport as well. Love it!

This grill is amazing, Weber topped themselves. The stand is the perfect addition. Wwe've made everything from hot dogs to duck, and never had a bad experience. I was always a charcoal girl, but this is so much better. Clean up is a snap, no ash to get rid of, and the flame is controllable. We have a small, covered, deck, and this is a perfect fit. It gets used year round, and is the perfect size for 2 - 4 people. We buy the large propane tank, which fits right on the bottom of the stand. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

I really love the weber Q , cause it easy to take with us on camping trips and it was so easy to assemble. It has plenty of room to cook on it and the cast iron grate is wonderful to cook on. I would recommend this to everyone who thinks of buying the Weber Q!!! GREAT!!!

I just bought this portable Weber Q grill today and used it this evening. Set up was a snap. The chicken I cooked disappeared fast. No leftovers for lunch!!! I purchased the portable rolling cart and adaptor hose also. I needed something small that could go on my small deck. I also wanted something that I could take on a outing. I can't wait to cook more.

We brought the Weber Q200 grill since the nest is empty and we no longer need a large grill. It is great when cooking for just two or a small group. We also liked the fact that the grate is stainless steel.

I bought this grill for my son's twenty-fifth birthday gift and he loves it. He lives in an apartment and needed something small and portable. It cooks like one of the large scale grills with easy storage. Also, the cart helps with tail-gate parties and camping.

This was my first propane grill and I love it. i have always used Charcoal grills and decided to try this one for the portablity and think it is a great idea.It dont have the mess of charcoal grills and the cleanup is great. The small propane bottles last alot longer than I thought they would usually about an 1 hr to 1hr30mn on high. I bought the adapter hose but have used it it yet just because of the portability of camping bottles.its a great grill.

I just purchased my Q200 grill and am very impressed. The quality is second to none. This is a very well built grill. I live in an apartment and it fits perfectly on my balcony. Works gret every time. You will not be dissapointed in this product. The grill is portable and perfect for one person yet large enough for larger crowd. From chicken to steaks, perfect eyerytime!
