Love it! This is my first grill, and I couldn't have chosen a better introduction to this way of cooking. It was easy to assemble and to figure out how it functions. I have had it for about a month now; it seems very sturdy despite having the cart made of plastic. The grill surface is easy to clean with a wire brush.

Review 22 for Q-320 2-Burner Propane Gas Grill
Best Grill I've owned - Almost Perfect
PostedSeptember 15, 2011
I wanted to use this grill for a few months before writing a useful review, so this is based on 6-months of use: PROS: -Starts easily, cooks evenly -Surprisingly large grill area -Heavy, well made grill grates -Great, easy to remove, clean & replace drip pan -Easily removable grates for cleaning the grill -Fast heating time and quick cool down time -Sturdy side tables that easily drop down if not needed CONS: -Takes longer to assemble than some reviewers claim -Needs four wheels instead of two -If you have to move it at all, its weight makes that very cumbersome, unless you're a line backer for the NFL -The light feature is useless and never used -If you cook using the convection (indirect heat) method as I do, that takes some getting used too, as the options for heating the grill are either outside only, inside only or both burners. Once you get used to inside/outside vs. left or right, it's very easy SUMMARY: I do love this grill and my solution for moving it to clean it is that I remove the tank and the grates and pull it to the hose. This lightens the weight considerably. Keeping this grill clean is essential to longevity. And by clean, I mean removing the grates and the drip tray, spraying Krud Kutter all over the inside and hosing it down on high to unclog the heating elements. Krud Kutter works the best for this. I do that once a month.
I simply love this grill! I really wanted to buy the Genesis E-330 Weber grill, but after weighing out the pros and cons, the Weber Q320 really fits the bill fine for all my needs. Its very portable, the frame is made of sturdy plastic, which gives me more peace of mind when it comes to rust, plus at half the price of the higher models. It also has lots of grilling space for large get togethers. I did not think I would get it in time for Memorial Day Weekend, but ordered it from Home Depot and it arrived in 3 days, AWESOME!!!
I bought this grill sight unseen since HD had no inventory. Decision was based on reviews I had read and all were very positive. It was relatively simple to assemble and is made in the USA, (Weber should put that in large letters on the box!)
I like the fold down shelves, the quality of the cooking grates in particular and all the other features including the generous cooking surface size. A recipe book giving recommended cooking temps and times is right on. Unless you want a behemoth, this would be the grill I'de recommend.
I purchased this grill because I heard weber was the best. I wanted a good grill for my Florida home. The grill was purchased in November and really was not used until Jan. My friends who were visiting used it. It never really started well, Always had to use a match to get it started. I purchased an o-grill and had it shipped to florida,. When I came to florida in june, I called weber and told them what happened. they said that since my friends used this grill the warranty was not valid. However, they would send me a one time replacement for the starter. They sent the starter. I replaced it and it still did not work. The O-grill has worked perfectly and I have never had a problem. So the moral of the story is - buy an o-grill and save your money-weber products are not the best and they do not stand behind their products.
Easy enough to assemble. Had it together in about 45 minutes. Grate is cast iron. I've had ceramic before and prefer that as it seems easier to clean. The grate is also not slotted consistently. Sections of the grate are solid where slots would be expected, resulting in a scenario that's almost 3/4 grill, 1/4 griddle, but the griddle parts are interspersed between grill parts. Really strange.
Heats evenly and does a nice enough job on everything we've cooked -- plenty hot.
Wish the warming rack were attached to the lid so it would move out of the way when opening the lid. It just straddles the grill surface, making it difficult to arrange/move food underneath it. As it consumes roughly 20% of the surface area, this can be significant on a grill this small.
Quality and features are decent for the price. The thermometer is responsive and the light on the handle is appreciated as we move into the shorter days of fall.
We purchased an infrared grill last year; didn't care for it. Bought this grill a few weeks ago and we are very pleased with all features (stainless steel burner, etc). Easy and quick assemble. Heats quickly (no long waits to put food on grill) and cooks evenly. Lastly, quick ship (we had it in 3 days) with no issues. Highly recommend this Weber grill.
We had been buying the typical $200 grille every 2 - 3 years and got tired of it. Rusted out burners and grates, bad quality parts and poor workmanship. We decided to buy a Weber to try and end the vicious cycle for good. I'm very glad we did because this grille is everything we wanted and more. It was more expensive but the quality is there and the grille is built like a tank. The thing I really like about it is that I know that if I need replacement parts, I'll be able to get them with no hassle.
Delivery was fast, two days. Assembly was easy and everything fit nicely. Wheels seem flimsy but my grill will be static. I did not think I would use the light but it came in handy the first week. Burner configuration different, one control for outside ring, second control for burner across center. This will be good for indirect cooking. The food grate is very heavy and should last well. Heats up fast, thermometer in hood reached 300 in about 1-2 minutes.
Don't be fooled that this is a "small" grill. This grill has alot of grilling space once you lift the lid up and it's easy to store. Quick 1 button start, only took 30 minutes to put together and love the grates. The only 2 things I would change on it: 1) its not easy to roll the grill to move due to the design 2) the bottom Weber sign could be a little nicer. If you want to grill some good food and impress family and friends buy the grill. The grill made me a better cook!!
I needed a small grill for my very small deck. I have tried several inexpensive grills over the last few years and they did not provide enough heat. This Weber grill has outstanding heat for cooking anything, just like the big grills, easy to use and very functional. It's worth stepping up to a grill of this Quality.
I love this grill. Didn't take but about 45 minutes to put together. Nothing hard at all. I have had charcoal and propane grills in the past, and this compact grill is the one I like the best. Heats up and holds the heat quickly, grill racks mark the meats perfectly. I like the fold down side shelves and it fits on my deck (which isn't that big) well. Only drawback is that once folded down there isn't much space on the unit itself to store utensils. I received it in quick time, and no damage to packaging.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Assemble, Easy to Clean, Sturdy, Large Cooking Space, Superior Craftsmanship, Distributes Heat Evenly
If you are living in an urban area, this grill is great. Would even be great for home owners in the burbs. The grill is compact (roomy grilling area, but sides drop down to maximize storage space). Easy to use (especially the 320 series which offers electric/battery ignition switch). My favorite parts of the grill are the light that attaches to the handle as well as the easy set up and ultimate portability of the grill on the cart. This is a great purchase for someone who is looking for a grill on the back porch to do some family grilling and bbq with a group of friends. I have used it 6 times in the last week and a half of owning it!
Extremely easy to put together. It took about 20 minutes and was ready to fire up. The cast iron grills are great for cooking steak and the dual burner allows for perfect control. I've already cooked bbq chicken perfectly and the best seared rib-eye steaks. The grill fits perfectly on a small terrace but the cooking surface is large enough to cook for a small party. I was able to cook for 6 people and always had room to spare. The warming rack is perfect to toast hamburger buns or to keep food warm. I also have a much larger grill and now prefer cooking on the Weber. The grill is worth every penny I paid for it. Weber really struck a home run with this one!
I bought this to replace a Weber Q140 grill that is perfect for my boyfriend and I, but quite a bit too small for any more than 2 people. I have always enjoyed grilling with my 'baby' Weber grill, and now I LOVE this new bigger addition! It was easy to assemble and ready to go! We have cooked out almost every night since we got it. This is a great grill for anyone who may be kind of afraid of grilling, it makes it so easy to make perfect steaks, chicken, everything!
