"If I had to describe this TV in one word, I think I would use "astonishing". Oh yes, a television can be astonishing. I received it today, and can't stop "testing" it out. Watching BluRay movies is like being in a whole new world. You can see every hair. Every freckle. Every grain of sand. I am currently watching a normal DVD, and the quality is still amazing. We played a few PS3 games and couldn't stop. My current settings are in the Standard mode and it still looks great. I turned everything down a bit, I heard that you are supposed to for the first 200 hours or so. But, for about 15 seconds I watched a computer generated movie in Vivid mode and it was even better. I will have to wait to use that though, it's very bright and you should not overdo the brightness for the break-in period. I heard a few things about people not liking the heat that is radiated from the screen. Mine has been on for at least 9 hours straight, and the entire TV is cool. I also heard that if you sit closer than 10 feet, it gets blocky and grainy. I stood in front of it at 1-2 feet and I couldn't see a difference. The cabinet is very nice and the TV looks great overall. I love that it was packaged so well, but with VERY minimal waste. I believe I have 4 small pieces of styrofoam, the box and a sheet of plastic in my living room. Very earth-friendly and a lot less hassle. Don't let the fact that this is a 720 instead of a 1080 deter you. The picture is great, the features are great and you won't be able to tell the difference.I am sitting here trying to find something even remotely "negative" to say. Can't think of anything. I challenge anyone to find a better TV for this price, it won't happen!"

"Wow is all I have to say. Going from a 32" sony flat screen to this is like going from a toyota to a ferrari. The picture is super crisp, the colors are bright and the sound is spectacular. On the down side, it radiates a lot of heat from the screen and plan on sitting at least 10-12 feet away or the picture is a little blury."
