I bought this washer in July 2008 since the first load of whites i washed i noticed that the bleach dispenser was still FULL of slightly diluted bleach at the end of the cycle. I have ruined colored clothes due to this problem. So lg has sent 2 different techs out to repair it and now lg said the machine is working normal. The techs that came to my home also see the concern for ruining your colored clothes. So beware of this machine.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I purchased this washer 1 month ago. No problems and does a great job at getting the clothes clean. If you are on metered water, will save a lot compared to a regular top loader. Also, because of the minimal water use, you use a lot less detergent. It is quiet and fits well in a laundry closet, since I don't have a full size laundry room. The other brands with the controls in the front are deeper and combined with the clearance requirements would not work, so if you have a closet type laundry area, keep that in mind.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is my first front loader, and I love it. It is quiet, and the clothes come out so dry, my drying time is actually cut in half. It is hard to believe that the clothes can get so clean in such a small amout of water. I have used most of the cycles (take the time to read the book, and follow their instructions!), including the steam, which saved a king comforter from the trash. (You don't want the details~) It runs a longer cycle then my old tl, but that is normal for all FL. It uses about 1/3 of the water, which will help keep my septic smooth running. Keep the front door open/cracked to dry out the inside and prevent any mildew build up. This machine was on sale, plus an extra 10% off, with free delivery via rebate. Plus Home Depot gift card. It was a great deal for a great machine. I just hope it lasts for years and years.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought this because of the Allergiene cycle. While it is not shown in the LG literature, it only took 1 Kwh of electricity and 12 gallons of water to run 1 Allergiene cycle. This equates to less than 14 cents for us. (However, it did take a total of 1 Hour and 50 minutes to run the Allergiene Cycle).
We have now used almost all cycles of this Washer and the clothes are coming out cleaner and smelling better than our old Washer.
If you have thought about an LG Washer but have still hesitated, our experience so far is a complete 5 stars. Don't Wait any longer; you will definitely save on both water and electricity. And have cleaner and better smelling clothes!
Yes, I recommend this product.
