My Maytag Dishwasher,
August 12, 2009
By Hikory1
from Lake George, NY
"OK so you need a good quiet dishwasher, I purchased this maytag jetclean. First I must say that the sales person service over the phone was excellent (women) . She explained in detail everything about the dishwasher and also sold me extra extended insurance for 4 more years for only $99.00. I received free delivery and they took my old dishwasher away also free. I installed my dishwasher myself (no big deal) it took me around hour or so. The black facing and plastic inside attachment trim was very stream line design. The machine is quiet and the settings are very easy to use. I filled up the machine with a load of dishes and glasses and silverware, it cleaned everything perfect. If you need a good quiet easy to use dishwasher this is the one I would say go for it. It comes with a one year warranty + I got the extra 4 year insurance so I don't need to worry about anything for 5 years for parts & labor. I am 58 year old male I am the only one who uses it, my wife is the cook and I am the dishwasher man. I hope that my story will help someone make a good buy for themselves. Good Luck and have a great and safe day. Richard from Lake George, NY"

Great dishwasher,
August 3, 2009
By LissaC

"Great dishwasher! It looks great and does a wonderful job. I couldn't rate this as "excellent" because for some reason there seems to be a little more water than in our previous dishwasher when it's finished the cycle. It's not a big deal to open it and let it air dry though.
If I had it to do again I'd still get the same one!"

"The dishwasher works very well and I like the sanitizer feature. I was surprised to see that it has a stainless steel interior.
The delivery and installation team that Home Depot sends out does a great job. We have had 2 appliances delivered and are looking forward to another this week."

Can't Believe What This Machine Can Do,
June 1, 2009
By lesky
from Michigan
"I'm a believer! After pre-rinsing dishes for years to make sure they got clean in our old model, I was skeptical. An Energy Star appliance that will use less water and energy and clean dishes thoroughly without pre-rinsing? We've been using it for 3 weeks and it has gotten everything clean--including dried on food, day old egg yolk, and a goopy baked on dessert pan. And we have only used the normal cycle so far. We can now be totally lazy with dishes and conserve water and energy at the same time! It's also fairly quiet.
Installation was a little tricky because of the inside corner location in our kitchen. It was hard to see inside to level properly, but we did it.
We wish it had a digital readout showing how much time is left on the cycle, and maybe larger lettering on the controls, but these are minimal. We like all the special features-stainless steel tub, large size, nylon racks (the upper one has varied levels for more effective loading). The price is great, worth every penny-a great bang for the buck! The steam option has yet to be tested at our house, but I'm still experimenting..."

Much Quieter,
May 26, 2009
By Marli
from Corinth, TX
"This really cleans the dishes well. It's so much quieter than my last one.I went back and forth on whether to spend this much money on a dishwasher. I wanted a good and quiet one after my last PO.... I gave it 5 starts, it dries the dishes but the inside is still rather wet. Hardly a complaint. I hate reading directions and it has posed a little prob as this dishwasher has more features that are above my knowledge. I'll figure them out. Great buy. It is worth the money."

"I purchased this dishwasher to replace a much higher grade unit that had failed. This unit easily outperforms the unit I had, It is quieter and does a much better job of getting the dishes clean. For the price you can't go wrong with this dishwasher."

Excellent Upgrade,
March 27, 2009
By GoodToKnow
from Leominster, MA
"After years of use, our repeatedly serviced and leaky unit saw its final day. We decided to DIY rather than pay a plumber the quoted several hundred dollars to remove the old one and install a new unit.
After shopping around the big box home and appliance stores for a solid featured unit in the $450-$500 range, we ended our search where it began at Home Depot. Competitively priced, delivery charge rebate and taking away the old unit helped to seal the deal.
We lined the interior cabinet space with a quarter inch moisture proof insulating material to help deaden the sound. While this dishwashers insulation cover seemed less substantial than our old unit, the new unit does an excellent job of sealing the entire front surround with a screw-in rubber liner and several insulating panels in the front bottom to deaden the motor sound.
Instructions were clear and simple to follow. A few basic tools had everything up and running in no time.
Overall we are quite pleased on the sound level and feature front. This unit is much quieter than our old unit andhas the features we where looking for, stainless tub, steam option, cycle delay and control panel with no manual dials or switches.
The quality of the washing cycles we've used so far certainly exceeds that of our old unit.
We would make this purchase again."

Love it!!,

"I moved into a brand new house 2 years ago and the house came with a cheap dishwasher. I usually had to run my cheap disherwasher twice to get my dishes clean. Well the dishwasher died a few weeks ago and it was going to cost $150 to replace a part so I went down to home depo to get a new dishwasher. I purchased this one that day and a few days later it showed up. I have used it several times already and I'm extremely impressed. I placed a cassrole dish that had stuff burned one to the bottom of it to see what the dishwasher could do... it cleaned it!!! No scrubbing required on my part! I'm super excited! It dried all of my dishes and they sparkle!!!! It was worth every penny that I spent and I would recommend this to anyone!!!"

Nice easy upgrade d-washer,
December 2, 2008
By rapidteer
from Sandy, UT
"We just replaced our old clunker after 16 years. I found the racks held a very large capacity and so easy to load, lower rack is easy to load, but not for glassware, it is designed for plates and other larger items. The dishes do get dry, and so spotfree useing "jet dry". It is so quiet as specified, but the installers omited installing the included sound adhesive strip and end caps, but it was an easy fix, they did a great job. I would recomend this washer, many easy options plus steam cleaning and sanitizing too."

Too deep and does not dry well,
May 14, 2008
By CarrTexas
from Houston TX
"This dishwasher has some nice features, especially the ventless steam exhaust - doesn't affect cabinet finish. However, we have been disappointed in how deep the bottom level is - you have to bend over nearly double to reach the dishes. The biggest disappointment is the lack of drying. I have to hand dry every dish before putting them away. I have tried the various options and cannot find any combination that dries the dishes."
