"I purchased this refrigerator from home depot in Dec 08 and have had great luck with it. The ice maker did stop working in Feb 09, but it was fixed within 2 days. The only thing I am having trouble with now is locating the filter for the water. This refrigerator is not listed on the maytag website. Hopefully someone can help me with this problem as my light is now yellow...."

"Needed a no frills, inexpensive side by side refrigerator w/ice maker/dispenser for the shore house.
Choose this one and purchased it from Home Depot as they provided: 10% discount, free shipping, and free removal of old refrigerator. When the refrig arrived, it was dented on the bottom of the front door. Delivery service contacted Maytag and they refunded $175 to us.
Great deal for the shore house, but I wouldn't have accepted it for our main residence. I purchase many things on line, but this is the first time I ever purchased a large appliance online. It was everything that the description stated. Home Depot made the order process simple which I truly appreciated. Delivery service accomodated our schedule."

"You cant beat this much fridge for the price. I do miss my slide out drawer that held my sandwich meats, cheese, bacon and such. The ice and water levers are basic, as in not cosmetic pretty.
Over all I would buy this fridge again. Don't set it at too high a number, you can freeze your fresh food, especially anything on the top shelf.
Delivery was on time and fast."

"We shopped around everywhere then decided on this refridgerator which is an excellent buy for the special on-line price that included delivery and hookup. It's roomy with plenty of compartments to store all the condiments & drinks. The lighting is perfect: not too bright or too dim."

"Being that I had not been in the market for a Refrigerator for over 18 years, I did not realize how much more you can save with a Matag 25.3 cu ft side by side. The energy saving is a 5, space is a 5 and having water and ice on the door has made life easier in the south! Matag's side-by-by gives you so much more useage of space and you are able to see everything in the frig even if you are short. If you have OCD this would be the ideal frig for you and your OCD. Thank you Home Depot for the great delievery people also. They were on time and explained everything fully. Thank you"

"This refrigerator is wonderful and I love it. I like the fact that I can lock it to keep my kids from drinking water and ice all through the night and making a mess. I recommended it to my friends and relatives and two of them have purchased one and they feel the same way I do."

"I love my fridge! The only thing I would like to change is the water/ice dispenser needs to be taller.
Love that I ordered it online and they delivered and hooked it up, although it took about 10 days.
But I would buy it again as its a really good value!"
