I just bought my first home and I wanted the best appliances so I wouldn't have to replace them for years and to save money on energy. This dryer is wonderful! Most loads take less than 30 minutes and it uses very little gas. I love having a front loading dryer and I love GE! I was worried it wouldn't be worth the money but that worry is long gone. I love the look, the speed, and the savings.

Better than our old electric dryer

We are very pleased with our new GE gas dryer. It is much more efficient than our old electric dryer, which had started to mark our clothes with brown streaks. So far, we have no such problems with the gas dryer, which dries quickly and quietly. My only slight complaint is that it has almost too many control options, making it a bit more complicated than necessary. Otherwise, very pleased.

Quick and quiet dryer

I have only had the dryer for a few days, but I have used it quite a bit and have been really happy with it. There are several settings that combine heat level, dryness, and so forth, or you can create your own custom setting. You can also adjust the factory presets to your own liking. Dry times are significantly shorter than my previous dryer and this is a very quiet dryer. You also can adjust the cycle signal for 3 volume settings or turn it off altogether.

Very good value. Large Capacity is great. No more worrying about overloading. Auto settings work well. Nice to have the on off power switch.

Already bought this model at Home Depot for our home about three years ago. Liked it so much, bought another one for my vacation home. The new one works just as great as the other. I would highly recommend.

Quiet and quick

That's how I would describe it. This dryer replaces a 20 year old dryer. Only complaint is it took almost an hour to reverse the door (even the manual says it might take that long!) and the installation guys were having problems doing it--they said it takes 38 screws--seems like a poor design. Other than that it works great.
