Excellent for use in small patios, closets and bathrooms, the Hampton Bay Gazebo II 42 in. Indoor/Outdoor Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan features 5 reversible, weather-resistant blades with silver and black finishes and can be adapted for use with a light kit (not included) and a remote control (not included). The fan comes with 54 in. lead wires for use with an extension downrod longer than the included 4-1/2 in. downrod (longer downrod not included).

We bought 4 of these fans to replace 15-year old ones on our front porch. They're not installed yet so my opinions and 5-star rating are based solely on their appearance just out of the box. They're attractive, well priced, and seem to be durable. The ones I'm replacing are white so I think the new black ones are going to look great and offer an interesting change. I depend on customer reviews when ordering anything online and since this fan got good ratings I think we made a safe choice. Other indoor/outdoor fans were somewhat pricier.

Added two fans to shop with 12' ceiling to get warm air from heaters down to the work area. Installation of two of the HD fan brackets between joists was very easy.

Fan looks great but wasnt as big as I hoped. Bought for back patio. Seems to work well. Has different colors on each side of fan blades.

Very easy to install! Clear concise directions. Wiring was a "snap".Very impressed with the quite operation.Style and color fits in well with our log home. Was installed on our front porch. Great value for the money!

Quick ship/delivery. Item as pictured/described. Fairly easy to install. Quality quite good but not as quiet as other (more expensive) fans. Overall, a good buy for someone looking for a little relief from the heat when out on your covered patio.

I bought 3 of these fans for a covered porch. The water resistant components are a bonus. I am using the black side of the fan blades to accent the brushed nickle finish. They look great.

I am using this smaller fan in my kitchen. The decorative knobs on the pull chains are a nice added feature, as are the reversible fan blades in 2 color choices.

well once you finally have the fan put together its a nice little fan but.... you will drive your self crazy attaching the blades onto the fan. a job that should require no time at all was unbearable!!! had to finally take the fan back down and install the blade hardware alone then re-install fan and attach blades. NEVER have seen anything like this before.....

bought 2 and 1 had slight defect

I had to have this size fan on my patio so I bought 2 and had electrician install. 1 was perfect but the other had a blade that was slightly crooked so it makes a small clicking noise when it's on. I would have sent it back but had paid the electrician and didn't want to have to pay twice for him to come back just for a small defect in the fan blade.

I bought this fan for an upstairs patio, which measures about 8x18. There aren't many fans out there that are rated to be installed outside, and the ones that are, can be quite pricey. This fan fit the bill. My only complaint is that, at 42 inches, it doesn't produce quite as much airflow as I would prefer. The motor assembly is very small, and using it on the high setting is the only one that is adequate. However, bottom line is that it's a good looking fan for a very good price, suitable for an outdoor installation for a small patio. If you have a larger patio, or want a lot of airflow, stick with a 48" fan or larger.

We installed this fan on a small screened porch at a cabin in WV. It looks great, works great, and is quiet. The gray side of the blades blends in perfectly with the porch ceiling.
