This is an absooutely wonderful sewing machine and I recomend it highly. I love all the many different stitch patterns available, and it's very easy to change from one pattern to another. My older model Singer was rather loud and was more just for basic stitching. This model has all the bells and whistles you could ever want, and it's very quiet to use. This Singer model runs very smoothly and the pedal is just sensitive enough that there isn't any jerking or sudden change in sewing speed should you need to adjust the position of your own foot. You can do some beautiful embroidery with all the many different stitches patterns available or you can sew up a whole wardrobe with ease. If you're like me and you aren't exactly a skilled "seamstress" yet, you'll love learning how to sew everything and anything with this machine. One thing I really appreciated besides the machine itself was the easy to follow instruction book that comes with your purchase. It tells you in plain speak how to do each and every stitch available as well as when to use each particular stitch. All in all I am extremely pleased with my purchase. This machine is great for all skill levels from beginner (like me) to those well advanced in the art of sewing. You're going to love it!

Great Machine !

This sewing machine is everything I had hoped it would be ! I didn't want to get into the machines that need a computer to be fully "functional". It's exactly what I had hoped it was and does all the stitches and everything else I could ever imagine needing.
The auto buttonhole feature is the best part . No more fighting to get the buttonhole "just right".
