French Door Fridge with Bottom Freezer

An excellent accessory for any kitchen, especially if space for a refrigerator is limited as it is in my home. This is a VERY quiet machine. Its freezer has a large capacity for a small refrigerator. One nice feature is a get cold fast button for the freezer that accelerates ice making. The ice maker is standard. The interior is well lighted and all areas are easily accessable. Two minor cons are that the doors don't seal automatically due to the interlock between them, so pressing them to shut tight is neccessary -- and the shelf spaces in the doors are slightly limited by the thick-walled shelving desigh.

13 months after purchase the door gasket ripped, after 22 months it quit completely. After looking on the internet I found out there's a fuse on a circuit board in the back panel. Trouble is that its not replaceable unless you buy the circuit board ( $200.00 my cost). Brilliant engineering. My Amana frig lasted 18 years and was still working when I replaced it with this hunk of junk. Get Warranty insurance if you plan having this refrigerator.

Love this to bits! Has so much room with lots of compartments for all of the food groups. 2 full gallons of milk fit into the side door!
Bottom freezer is the only way to go. I will never own another top freezer again. There is so much storage in the freezer. I was most happy to get such a wonderful fridge for such a great price.
Our other fridge would make noise all day and night. This fridge is so quiet that I find myself opening the fridge to make sure its still running. We are thrilled with this refriderator. Highly recommend it!

13 months after purchase, the door gasket has ripped on one of the doors. It also makes a crunching noise as its closed. The ice maker makes noise but is not as bothersome as the ice falling onto the floor as the freezer drawer is pulled out. This only happens when the bin is near full.
For the last 12 months I've thought I'd made a good purchase. Now I miss my 20 yearold Amana that was still running when I traded it in.

I have had this fridge for a year, It has ruined the contents three times and caused 3000.00 in water damage to my home.

A very nice unit and very quiet.
Doors and drawer can be removed for smaller doors but is a bit time consuming. Verify door opening width before ordering.
Home Depot pick up and delivery was very good.

I have only had the frige for a couple weeks now but I love it. The French Door design is nice the amount of room the frige has is great. If you leave the door open the fridge beeps at you and shuts the light off inside. having the frige above the freezer is great. I don't have to bend over to look in the fridge. I am still getting used to the freezer on the bottom.

I am really enjoying my new LG French Door Frig. It is so convenient and roomy. I especially like having the freezer and ice maker on the bottom, leaving so much more space in the top compartment. Being able to open both doors makes it easier to get larger items in and visibility much better of stored items. The size, which I had a hard time finding in the stores, was a perfect fit for my space and the clean outside appearance adds to the overall look of my kitchen.

The fridge is great, the room inside is more than adaquate. I had a side-by-side before and always found it to be disorganized and messy due to the fact that so many things ended up at the back of the shelves. The freezer is great so far but I haven't put too much into it yet, we will see how it goes when it is full! We are very happy with our purchase, the delivery people were great and very careful of our home when they were there, and haul-away is the greatest thing anyone has ever come up with!

This LG was the only French Door style I found that was less than 34" wide. This refridgerator is quiet, energy-star rated and has an amazing amount of space with adjustable shelves for organizing perfectly. A soda organizer that stores an entire case of soda! I hated the freezer in my old side-by-side. Everything was crammed in and a pain to get to. The LG freezer is awesome with nice deep drawers to store the bulky frozen foods and a slide-out shelf for stuff like pizza and a huge ice bin. This is a very well-designed refrigerator. I will be looking for other LG appliances in the future. I called LG customer service and was impressed with their response time and friendliness. LG all the way!

I love the French door ! Getting anything from the freezer is so much easier than my old side by side, where I had to dig everything out just to find one item. It is so quiet and the icemaker has custom ice, so you choose the size of your cubes. There is a ton of space, going to have to buy more food to fill it up ! You will love this one !
