Love this new frig!

We've had our LG for 3 months and love it. We love the look and are really happy we chose the model without the outside water/ice dispenser and I'm not sorry - I love the sleek look.
We just remodeled our kitchen and I spent many hours reviewing refrigerators. I was nervous about sacrificing space but wanted counter depth. It was so hard to pay more $$ for less cubic feet but I wanted the whole look in the new kitchen. We went with the LG stainless and I was so pleasantly surprised to see how much space it has!! There is even a pull out drawer big enough to hold a meat tray! Everything fits. We bought the 4-year warranty after reading some other revieiws but so far zero problems. I never had stainless before and heard about the fingerprints and chore to clean. After researching, I wipe fingerprints clean with windex and buff with a little WD-40. Works great!

I love this frig, it is smaller asthetically so it fits really nice into my space but the inside does not feel any smaller, thre is a lot of space. All the trays, drawers, shelves pull out for cleaning, nice. The doors do require a check to make sure they are shut, but if you forget, there is an alarm to remind you. I love my new frig!

Today I opened our refridgerator door and I smelled a light scent of something burning. I could not figure it out and waited until my husband got home. He immediately found what was wrong. The refridgerator lights were staying on when the door was closed, and was burning the control panel that they were in. It was getting too hot and now the control panel is warped. We have no light in our refridgerator now. We are hoping the thermostat is not ruined. The stainless is low quality and has a few rusty looking spots on it that won't wipe off. We have had the refridgerator for 2 years. There was only 2 of us using the refridgerator. We expected better quality for the price!

Purchased this refrigerator last August and I love it! The counter depth means no more petrified vegetables hiding in the back! Everything is clearly visible. Doors provide roomy storage for frequently used items like milk and orange juice. The veggie drawer is small but keeps things fresh a lot longer than my last refrigerator.

I purchased this on February 5th and am very satisfied. This model is very quiet and very spacious. I had previously purchased the LG model with the ice maker in the door, but returned it to get more space in the refrigerator area. I now notice that the one I returned was noisier than the model I have now. The noise wasn't necessarily a deal-breaker (because it wasn't always constant), but was loud enough to make me wonder if this was normal for a refrigerator. The noise was something similar to the fan noise from an X-Box console. My current LG, without the ice dispenser in the door, is much quieter which I very much appreciate in comparison.

My wife and I ordered this fridge about 4 months ago and we have had it in our kitchen for 3 months now and it works and looks fantastic. We also bought the LG dishwasher and convection oven and we are very pleased with all of them. This LG stainless steel fridge looks so clean and modern. We did not want the ice and water in the door to take away from the clean lines or to take up space in the upper part of the fridge. We love the frezzer drawer below with the ice maker. All said, we are very impressed with the looks and performance of all the new LG appliances we bought...the LG dishwasher is the quitest I've ever heard!

Overall, we're very happy about this fridge. It's our first time selecting one for purchase, and found there weren't very many options for a counter-depth, stainless, french door under $2500. We specifically looked for one w/o the door water/ice dispencer to get maximum capacity out of a counter-depth size. There's not a ton of produce drawer space, as previous reviews mentioned, but we're very good about clearing out old leftovers and random food containers that tend to take up space. There's a decent amount of door space for beverages/ condiments/ butter/ etc. And the shelves in the body of the fridge slide out some, making it easier to get that last yogurt from the back of the shelf. The freezer is good size, but there's certainly no great organizing solutions in the drawer. Once we fill up with half-used bags of frozen fruit and veggies, we'll have to dig around to take inventory. But, again, for the price and what we were looking for - we are totally satisfied.

Just what was needed

Best price around, especially once discounted, counter depth a big help in the space& it looks great ( though still trying to figure out how to avoid the swirls left whenever the surface is wiped down using stainless steel cleaner). We do have a large family of 5(4 hungry men/boys), keep a decent supply of fresh items and though the drawers are not expansive, the lower long drawer allows for varied temp settings and for full size celery/similar items to be stored. Like I did, just ask the HD rep to show you where the counter depth drawers will end on their standard size floor model so u can visualize. We opted to not get the interior water feature to allow more door storage space and because of little hands who might find it entertaining. The interior provides us with ample space. Still getting use to the freezer set up as previous had more shelving options but there is good space there, just a matter of arranging differently. We do have a secondary fridge that houses water/sodas/some larger boxed frozen items or roasts, but we've always had a #2 fridge for the overflow.

easy to install, looks great, and for being a small fridge it actually does have good space in it. If you have a larger family then obviously a smaller fridge is not going to be adequate, so make sure you are looking for an appliance that meets your needs.

I purchased this refridgerator with very high expectations. I have a small-ish kitchen, so didn't want a large refrigerator sticking out from the cabinets. This one had lots of room in the doors and the shallow shelves seemed like a good idea because you could see everything easily. A major problem, however, is that there is hardly ANY space in the veggie drawers. You can't even fit a stalk of celery in the drawer. Forget a bag of apples, and you'd better buy a small head of cauliflower or broccoli or you won't get the drawer closed. I can't believe I will be stuck with this problem for many years to come. Maybe if I didn't have 3 kids or if we didn't eat fresh, this wouldn't have been such a bad choice for us.
