Pros:
Other reviews on this LG model were in general very good. It lives up to the reputation.
Sensor heating is surprisingly effective. Never had or used it on previous ovens and found that it works very well.
Heating is very uniform, unlike the Panasonic inverter model that it replaced. The Panasonic always made everything super hot on the outside, but cold in the middle. The LG distributes the heat evenly throughout. Must be a better waveguide design.
Controls are easy to use and understand. Only needed a few minutes of reading the manual to figure everything out. The instant on button to add 30 second increments at full power is very nice, always wanted a shorter time period than the Panasonic 1 minute button and this one is exactly what I was hoping for.
Really like the 10 in internal height, it's about an inch more than the Panasonic and most other new ones I looked at.
Power output is about 30% more on average for any given setting than the Panasonic based on reduced cook time for identical power and time settings. And that's even with the lower LG power rating than the Panasonic (1100W vs 1200W).
The 10 year warranty on the Magnetron is outstanding. It's twice most others I looked it. All of my previous ovens have burned out in just about 7 years. Maybe this time the Magnetron will last as long as the rest of the electro/mechanical parts.
Delivery and haul away of the old one included in the catalog price made it the deal impossible to beat. Being in stock and delivered in just a few days was a real plus too.
Cons:
The carousel rumbles a bit. It's not as smooth of a movement and it's louder than the Panasonic but not a problem.
Only real complaint is the door often makes a nasty creaking noise when opening and closing. The plastic flap (seal?) near the top hinge rubs up against the body. It seems to be improving a little with use. It's annoying but not enough to get me to pull it back down or mess with a service call. It's a rather heavy oven at over 60 lbs and was challenging to lift up and mount, wouldn't want to do that again unless absolutely necessary.
The mounting bracket is rather thin gauge, the Panasonic had a real industrial strength one. It had me a little worried at first whether it was strong enough to handle the weight, but there have been no problems with it since installation.

Overall, a very nice microwave oven. The temperature sensor is awesome. Microwave popcorn comes out perfect every time. Only complaint is that the fan is noisy at all speeds. Other than that woulod recommend highly.

I've named my microwave "Rosie" for the Jetson's maid...it's amazing how it detects and heats food to perfection! It's great to just hit the "Popcorn" button and have it come out perfect every time.
I love the clean lines and lack of venting on the front face. My only complaints would be the fan light which is quite dim, even on "high," and that they still haven't perfected an over-the-range fan that can really suck up the smoke efficiently.
I look forward to "Rosie" being in service for many years.

I never purchased an LG appliance before this one. I found this microwave to be a good surprise! We purchased the microwave because of its great warranty (10 years), its clean lines (no grill openings on front of unit) and its features. We have been using the microwave for over a month and we continue to find great features for cooking, reheating, melting and softening food.
I would strongly recommend this unit to anyone interested in purchasing a new microwave.

Stylish..but little noisy

I got the white one. It looks nice. Food cooks easily. The Sensor is ok, not great. My biggest gripe is that the blower makes lot of noise even at lower speeds. I am sure others do too, but I was hoping for a quieter one. I got this, as this is the best I could find for the price range.
One thing I love about this is the clean vents. It is much easier to clean it compared to others.
This will be my first LG, only time will tell if it was worth it.
