The first ice and water dispensing 4 door French door refrigerator, exclusively from LG. The two freezer drawers provide the ultimate in convenient organization and easy access. With the tallest water dispenser available, you can fill larger containers with filtered water.

Incredible Refrigerator,

"The new LG refrigerator is absolutely fantastic.
It makes plenty of ice, and you even have a choice of ice cube size! I transfer it to a bin in the freezer from the ice maker so I'll never run out.
You may have to lower the shelf on the right hand side of the refrigerator, so you can fit your milk on the door, and also right there on the shelf both. We generally only open that one right side door to get at most of the regular groceries.
The large center refrigerator drawer means you need to open both french doors, and you'll also need to open both doors to get at the little middle drawer. I think that one's for sodas?
The LED lighting is nice, and looks very dramatic when it's the only illumination in a dark kitchen.
The bottom freezer drawer is a large plastic tub with slots in the bottom. On other refrigerators, I've notice the freezer drawer is a basket. I would think the plastic tub would be better than the baskets because all the cold air won't "drop out" everytime you open it. Also, the two-draw freezer is nice because we generally only open the top one for most everything, and you don't have to bend down as far. This might help save energy as well.
A note about the water dispenser. You can either press your glass to the switch on the outside of the door to dispense water, or set your glass on the little shelf and press a button. I've noticed that many of the other refrigerators do not have enough room for you to actually "set" your glass down when you want water, so I think this is a nice plus.

"This is a gorgeous refrigerator/freezer. The crew that delivered it was wonderful. It was up to temp and delivering ice in less than 24 hours.
Two drawbacks:
1. The door shelf space I was used to with a side-by-side was reduced to approximately half. A real problem for collectors of small-bottle stuff--horseradish, picante, Tabasco, etc.
2. The dual doors must both be opened for access to the bottom drawer and for the center upper drawer.

"This icebox has been in use for a week and I gotta tell you, you get what you pay for. The frig compartment shelf design is well thought out with fold and pull-out design, totally adjustable to an individual or a familys needs. Both refrigerator and freezer compartment doors close effortlessly with little more than a bump.
The ice-maker arrangment inside the refrigerator door is quite novel and of excellent design and engineering. The external ice & water dispenser outside the door with the pull out bottom shelf and tall design accomidates everything from a a gallon pitcher to my Malamutes water bowl.

"This is a great appliance!! I researched extensively and kept coming back to this one. I'm so glad I purchased it. It has plenty of space in the refrigerator area and I love the split freezer. I put items I seldom need in the bottom freezer which is much more energy efficient. I don't mind the large tray in the refrigerator because I find I usually open both doors anyway. My husband and I are retired and live in Florida so we use a LOT of ice year round. The "ice plus" feature was great to build up a supply and now we continue to keep the bin full. It does show fingerprints, but that's my husband and granddaughters' fault--a nice problem to have!! Buy this one, it's great, great, great!"

"Bad:
Does not hold temperature and it takes forever to recover low temp after the doors have been open. Inaccurate temp indicator shows 2 degrees colder than the compartment.

Lousy shelf layout. I tried to put everything from my Kenmore side by side into this product and at least one fourth would not fit in either the fridge or freezer section.
You cannot stand up reasonably tall products like ice tea pitcher, ketsup, 46 oz vegetable juice bottles, etc unless you push the sliding shelf back and that is not much room. If you like drinking out of 12 oz bottles forget it, your life is now destined for 12 oz cans so they will fit on the shelves.
Door space is ridiculus. Adjustable shelves do not help. You have to wrestle the milk in out. Don't buy many condiments because there isn't much room for them either. Buy the short ones too because the door shelves have the same affliction as the compartment.
No positives to report. I wish I would have saved my money and kept my 16 year old Kenmore side by side.
I will be checking with HD to see if they will take this piece of junk back."

"After looking at refrigerators for weeks, I found this model at Home Depot which had the best price and financing options at the time. The door alarm was one of the things that my wife and I liked because we have a toddler thatr likes to open the refrigerator doors. The alarm has stopped all of our frozed food from being defrosted. Also the ice maker is built into the door which keeps all the food smeels out of the ice bin. The ice doesn't ever get freezer burn either. It also has the ice plus option that will produce 30% more ice in a 24h period if you have company over."

"Ice maker does not always deliver ice and the food in the refrigerator freezes. The refriegerator and freezer are set on the highest temperature.
Great looking refrigerator and matches the stove, dishwasher, and microwave but we have had several problems with 2 of 6 LG appliances."

"I really like this refridgerator, but the doors are a problem they do not shut properly. You have to really keep your eye on this, I know why they put a alarm on it! The ice machine is slow, and dose not hold a lot of ice. I like everything els about it. I would of given it a 3.5 if icould?"

"Let me tell you…I love, love, love this refrigerator but save yourself a lot of aggravation by choosing black instead of stainless steel. Our previous LG was stainless and it was very difficult to keep clean; it showed every fingerprint and I had to clean it with a stainless steel cleaner every day, I could never get it to buff out and not show streaks. Choose black, it looks awesome ….you’ll love it! Now to list the other features I love about this refrigerator; the shelving is wonderful…slide out spill protector shelves and one folds for tall bottles! There is lots of room with the four crisper drawers and I especially like the full width deli drawer. I could go on and on about what I love about this refrigerator from the lighting, freezer drawers, door alarm, etc. but you’ll have to check it out for yourself. I highly recommend this refrigerator."

"This LG, first of all, looks very styliish, and that is what the first attraction was. It fits our lifestyle, and has the room we need for our family. I love the lcd light when you open the fridg, all the room and the double doors. I do have to make sure that both sides of the refrigerator is closed, seems only one side will close by itself. The freezer, is convienant. This is a thumbs up."

"I have had the refrigerator 6 months. I really like it. My only complaint is that you can't close both doors at the same time. My ice maker works fine and I haven't had any other issues. I'm glad I bought it."

"This LG looks cool, has a great amount of space, but the only problem I see so far is the doors. They are a problem to close, you must make sure to close them yourself all the way. There is a alarm that tells you its open, but I have to tell any guest to double check the door. Other then that no problems"

"Wow! Top of the line and ease of use! This frig is fabulous! The double doors for the Freezer area on the bottom are great! Practical as well! The French Doors and spacious room and the wonderful deep ice cube (3 types) and crushed ice are so useful. The deep width and ability to use for tall items is perfect! It's not only is an energy and space saver...it is a "piece of art"! Thank you for making this not only user friendly, but also quiet and far exceeds our expectations! Our local Home Depot Appliance expert was Seclenda...highly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! Thank You Home Depot and LG and Seclenda!"
