Have owned this refrigerator less than a year and ice maker and water dispenser does not work. LG's solution is to unplug the refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours and see if that helps. Apparently this problem is not fixable. This is by far is the worst appliance I have ever owned. I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone. I have a feeling my unit will end up in the dump by the end of this year.

It is a pretty refrig, but if you are buying it you need to make sure you already have a free standing ice maker because this one is horrible. The ice maker is terrible. Also I originally bought the cheaper model, but the doors kept staying open so we traded up for this one the the auto door closer and it rarely works right so don't buy it for that feature. All and all I wouldn't recommend buying this appliance.

Pros: This is a very nice looking refrigerator. It is very impressive in the kitchen. It looks the part.
Cons: The Counter Depth version has a very very small freezer space compared to other counter depth refrigerators. Be sure you see the counter depth version. Don't make your decision based on the regular version. They only had the regular version in the store when I picked in out and was shocked and disappointed at how little freezer space there was. After spending all the extra money for this very suave refrigerator, I had to buy another standard frig for the garage.
Also, it did break down within the first 6 months and required a couple of different calls to repairmen. Luckily I bought the extended warranty... I will definitely get my money's worth out of that. Generally, I think extended warranty's are a rip off but the way they are making appliances these days...
The freezer drawers often and easily get askew and therefore doesn't seal all the way.

worst refrigerator ever. completely broke down after 2 weeks. There no replacement fans in any warehouse in the USA. They offered a replacement refrigerator. I opted for a complete refund and will never buy LG again

Home Depot in Poway California has the complete line up of LG products. LG makes the best quality for the best price. I bought this fridge as a floor model and got free delivery and removal of the old. I love the lighting inside and outside, I love the space, doors, seals, stainless exterior, freezer, the whole shebang! I will recommend the Home Depot in Poway Ca to everyone I know and show my neighbors that this fridge is the best of LG engineering. The price vs. others is uncomparable. LG designs their products with real time consumers in mind at all times. In my opinion, no company can surpass the engineering and design of
their products. I ownevery LG product from this Fridge, dishwasher, Front Washer and dryer and have never been more pleased spending our hard earned dollars. You can breath easily purchasing this Fridge. You won't be disappointed, I promise you.

I purchased this unit last month and love the improved accessiblity over my old side by side. The dual freezer compartments make for easy access to all items. The only draw back is the lack of space on the left refrigerator door due to the ice maker. Have not had any problems thus far. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high end counter depth unit.
