The heater features an auto shutoff tilt valve with an ODS-compliant oxygen depletion sensor and a grill guard for safety. The unit is lightweight and portable and heats up to 100 sq. ft., raising the outdoor temperature by up to 25 degrees.

sent this to a friend as a " thank you" present because she mentioned about having a little heat on her patio in the evenings so she can read outside so she doesn't get chilled. i thought about my brother-in-law because he has 2 of them and they were excellent. She loves it ! we also told her about an adapter with a line to be able to use a bigger tank for under the table.the important thing is ,she LOVES it and she is always using it when its on the cool side of the evening. Thank you for a great product.

We have the heater on patio table (which we got from H D) beside our pool & enjoy it a lot. our other one quit after 5yr & couldn't get parts for it.

The instructions weren't that good, an obvious translation into English. However assembly was still fairly easy. Heater looks very nice and heats well as long as you are within 6 or 8 feet of it.

The specifications state that the heater will run for three hours on one propane can. This may be true if you keep the heater on the lowest setting which gives almost no heat to those sitting at the table. On high it runs out of propane in less than one hour. Even on high, the heat produced is not enough to keep you warm when the outside temperature is 45 degrees.
I am returning this product.

I gave this heater as a Christmas gift to my dear friends who have a lovely lake house with a great---but chilly porch over looking the lake. After a trip there in November I decided that they needed these heaters and now after my recent visit in January can say I was thrilled how well these heaters kept us warm while we lounged on the porch watching the sunset over the lake----it was a great gift.

I ordered this from HD on Cyber Monday, and received it that same Friday. Excellent job for HD. The product requires a little assembly, but the components are well made, and the instructions were clear. I've used the heater a couple of times, and it works fine. A well made product, delivered on-time, and at a great Cyber Monday price. Highly recommend this heater.
