Why no door stop???

I think there is a major design flaw in not including a 90 degree door stop in this refrigerator. It is a small unit and most people who buy a small refrigerator have space constraints and that means there is a good chance the refrigerator will be up against a kitchen wall. A door stop is just a simple piece of metal that can be placed in the door hinge. I called GE and they said they only include them in the very expensive Monogram line. I think this is poor judgement on GE's part. A stop would cost about one dollar (I would pay $20 for one) and prevent the door of my fridge from slamming against my wall almost every time it's opened.
Otherwise the product is pretty good. There is a lack of large space though. Perhaps removing some of the shelves and drawer units that they include would help that.

I wish I looked at this fridge in the store first. The freezer is way too small! Only one little basket so food in freezer will be difficult to keep organized. No room for an ice cube tray either! Refrigerator does not offer an egg tray.

We wanted a quiet stainless-steel single-door upper refrigerator that would fit into a small existing kitchen alcove. To that end this unit fits the bill nicely. The freezer didn't seem too important to us, so the small bottom under freezer of this unit was acceptable. But given how inadequate the freezer is for ice making and storage this unit would work best when paired with a separate storage freezer.

Love the look and fit and finish. The thing that I like most so far is how quite it is... Hard to tell if it is on. Both the upper and lower section keep things nice and cold.

We were quite happy with this unit when we first took delivery, but within days it was apparent that food items placed on the bottom shelf, particularly in the back of the refrigerator, were freezing. We had the setting for both refrigerator and freezer at 5, as recommended. The repair team determined that the seal at the back of the refrigerator, separating the freezer compartment, needed to be reinforced to prevent the freezing air from spilling into the lower part of the refrigerator. We opted to have the unit replaced. The second unit froze food in the same way, and we are returning it and going to a different brand.

This fridge has much less space than I expected it to. The freezer is also much smaller than it looked online. It makes a horrile buzzing noise at regular intervals thruout the day.I did not recieve the hardware with it to reverse the door.I believe that for what this fridge offers it was highly overpriced.

We got this refrigerator almost 3 years ago. At first, it took 3 technician visits to fix the crisper drawers so they would not freeze the contents. The door had an annoying squeak that came and went. Lastly, the coolant system sprang a leak. This was not covered under the warranty and is too costly to fix, so a new refrigerator is now on order (not GE). It is too bad, because this is a really nice refrigerator! We will steer clear of this brand in the future!

I have had this refrigerator for about a month. The way my kitchen is set up a single door refrigerator works better. It's very quite and has plenty of storage for me. I like the size of the ice in the ice maker, not so big so it doesn't clump. The outside does not show fingerprints so very easy to clean. Love the bottom freezer, it's plenty big for for my use, might be small for a large family. My previous refrigerator had water and ice in the door and I never used it so I don't miss it with this one. I would definitely recommend this product.

We needed a fridge that fit into our tight space. This was the nicest and largest. The stainless steel front is beautiful. The gray sides add to the rich look. It runs very quiet and less often than our older GE. The top fridge section is designed very well. The glass shelves are easy adjustable. The lighting is bright. The shelves on the door are very deep, adjustable and hold a very large amount of items. Plenty of space. The freezer is somewhat smaller than expected, but one must organize and stack items not just drop stuff in. The freezer makes ice in no time. It also has a very bright light so finding things are a snap. We have had it about a month now and we are very pleased so far. This is a beautiful practical SS fridge without all the fancy in door features, yet it does the job and doesn't look cheap.

I just received this refrigerator yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. It is beautiful! Love the stainless steel finish with the "no finger print" option. I had a small space to fit and it fit perfectly thanks to the salesman @ Home Depot that helped me. It is well lit in the upper part of the refrigerator and has very wide drawers in the door. I love the clear glass so you can see right into the crispers. It is very roomy. The slide out freezer is smaller than I expected, but it works for a small family. It is lit also. One of the best features of this refrigerator is that it is so quiet I can hardly hear it run! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

This is my first bottom freezer/ refrigerator. I was unsure about the pull out drawer freezer, but have come to love it. It holds more than you would think. Freezer produces a good amount of Ice. I use a lot of ice and it has no problem keeping up. No more lost leftovers in refrigerator- I can now see everything in refrigerator. (instead of getting lost in the bottom shelves)

The is an attractive refrigerator. Although this is not a huge refrigerator the refrigerator portion of it is quite spacious but this means that the freezer may not be as ample as customers might like. I had the door reversed to the other side and initially had issues with the hinge side gasket not sealing properly. After I realized that the gasket was just compressed, I poked at it until it provided a tight seal to the refrigerator. Prior to my fiddling with the gasket, Home Depot was willing to completely replace the refrigerator and provided me with great customer service. Lastly, if using the ice maker, there is a very audible injection sound when it is being filled, but otherwise is a quiet refrigerator. I have only had it for a week but am in general pleased with the purchase.

After much review and consideration we selected this model for our newly remodeled kitchen. It fits in seamlessly with our other GE stainless appliances and in to the space in our kitchen. Delivery was seamless and the fellows actually swapped the door to the other side for ease of opening into our kitchen. Immediately after being plugged in it began to cool down and reach temperature. The door bins and fridge space is enormous, and very easy to customize to our needs. The machine is silent, and keeps everything cool in the fridge and frozen in the ice box. The gaskets along the doors are fantastic, keep an incredibly tight seal all around. Slides a little bit when opening over our laminate floor, but remedied by tightening down the levelling feet. The stainless does show fingerprints, but easily wipes off. All in all a great appliance and highly recommended.

I love this fridge! Everything is right there when you open the door. The freezer needs a divider in the large b asket but that is something I can do. It is quiet and effiecient.

This is our first bottom drawer freezer. It is a little smaller compared to the old top freezer we had even though the appliance as a whole is a little larger. The top is larger than our old one. I think it's more convenient to have the fridge on the top.

First fridge cratered after a week, but Home Depot stood by it and we had a new one within the week. This refrigerator is amazingly quiet, lots of interior storage with movable shelves. In fact we took out two shelves. Gallon milk jugs fit in the door.
Generates losts of ice. The freezer has easy access, but there is some wasted space due to drawer feature. With the freezer on the bottom, drawer is the only way to go. Stays true to temperature, in fact we turned it down from the factory settings.
Clean steel is preferable to stainless because you can use your refrigerator magnets, although it does scratch easier. Did I mention how quiet it is?

We purchased this refrigerator because of the bottom freezer feature. The refrigerator compartment is spacious with fully adjustable shelves and door storage compartments, which provides enormous flexibility. The freezer is equipped with an automatic factory installed ice maker which works well. The freezer storage could be improved by adding adjustable dividers to the basket, but that's a small negative. We like the unit very much, with no more stooping to get at the vegetable bins!
