The 4 inch accelerator flush valve pushes the water with such force that the stool literally jumps like a Mullet (Florida jumping fish), and fluid splashes up out of the bowl often onto the seat, or farther. Then there is inadequate water retained in the bottom throat so I feel sure if I was gone for extended period of time, evaporation would drop level down so sewer gas intrusion would be a problem. Also, the cirumference of bowl is inadequately rinsed so I have to manually do touch up/clean up of drebris that did not go straight down or splattered.

This is the second one of these toilets we have installed in our house, and we are still very pleased. Same great flushing action with it seems an additional push of water from the upper tank as well. Still beautiful and elegant to look at, we put this one in our main floor half-bath. It blends with the luxury decor in that room just wonderfully. Nice to know we have replaced an old water hog toilet with a beautiful and water-saving modern one.

One of the best investments that we have made this year. The toilet is ADA certified and feels great, especially when you get up from the toilet the height is excellent.

I installed this toilet on 1/19/2011 it is the best toilet that we have ever had. Flush is GREAT & QUIET. With our old toilet I was called to plunging duty at least twice a month. Since I installed this Champion 4 toilet 8 months ago I haven't had to plunge once. I have nothing but good things to say about it. The one piece toilet is a little heavy to install by yourself so make sure that you have a good strong helper. Home Depot had a great price also.

This toilet flushes great but has an extremely low bowl water level. That being said, the sides of the bowl do not get a very good wash down. That leads to solids sticking to the side pretty often, required more frequent attention with a toilet bowl brush than you may be used to.

I considered all brands in this price range for both style and performance. This toilet delivers in every area! It has some serious flushing power yet is quiet, quick to fill, easy to clean, and looks great!

Works extremely well. Because of all of the horror stories concerning low water flush toilets, I researched carefully on line before selecting and it paid off. It works better than the high water usage toilet that it replaced.

I've tried 2 of these and they both leak. The first one water drained out the entire tank the 2nd one leaked just underneath where the flush valve was attached to the ceramic. I've been waiting since Feb for a refund from American Standard. Terrible product and terrible customer service.

I purchased this toilet because I had one of the first ones ever made with this flushing system. My first one flushed fantastic but when the insides broke there were no replacement parts for it. I thought that was a bad way to do business but still loved the flushing power so I got suckered into another one. The new one flushed different, not at all like the old one and I don't see any extra power like my first one. Overall I feel cheated as i bought this one and a two piece one also.

What a toilet!

We needed to replace an old waterhog toilet in our master bath, and wanted one that was very functional and yet elegant. This really fits the bill. It is beautiful, not too large, and the flushing power is tremendous. It is kind of like firing a rocket everytime you flush. It is quiet, though, and very efficient. We are very happy with our purchase.

Replaced an Eljay two-piece that could not keep a flapper operational for more than 2 years. Easy to install, handles waste with no problem. Just be careful, manufacturer recommends to not use drop-in cleaners, not abrasive cleaners on the bowl. Bowl does not hold onto stains, flush right down. Also this WC is very quiet compared to the replacement and a Kohler that I have in another room.

I purchased this comode in Dec 2009. I love it. I am now ordering another one for the bathroom downstairs. It is the fastest flushing comode I have ever seen and has NEVER stopped up. Get rid of your plunger because you will no longer need it.

Bought two to replace the throne in both bathrooms. A little heavy which makes it hard to install without help. I would have it installed by a pro if I ever do it again.
The toilets are the fastest flushing I have ever see. The one peice makes it easy to clean especially with the new lids which detach with a flip of a tab.
I usually don't have a personal relationship with fixtures or appliances but I love these Champions which are well named.

This is a great toilet and flushes with much more "power" so "double-flushing" no longer required. Very quiet also.
This toilet is also rated #1 in a recent 2009 issue of CONSUMER REPORTS magazine
Pricey but it should last a very, very long time.
