Indoor Weekly Digital Timer-DISCONTINUED

The Westek Indoor Weekly Digital Timer features up to 20 on and off segments per week with the ability to group settings by days of the week. The timer also has a random function setting for extra security when you are away on vacation. The timer is easy to program and has an easy-to-read digital display with a simple, 1-touch adjustment for daylight savings time.

Digital Timer

While preparing for a two week vacation, I purchased 3 of the timers to turn on lights and other items in the home at various times.
I do not know why other reviewers had problems, but after reading the instructions, it was pretty easy and the timers worked as advertised. Because a couple reviewers made complaints, I tested the timers prior to departure and they worked.
When I returned, a couple of the lights were already on within the home. **I will state that the advertisement should inform you to purchase batteries for this timer. This keeps it going if the power goes out.

Dependable - unless you lose the manual!

No, I do not recommend this product.
This timer works dependably and provides a lot of different options for setting timing periods, but heaven help you if you lose the manual! The timer settings are in no way intuitive. We used this for one year and it worked fine, but we put it away for the summer and when we brought it back out, we found that we couldn't program it to save our lives. The manual is lost somewhere, and there isn't a manufacturer's site on the Internet where we can get a PDF of the manual to help us. At this point, it's a useless hunk of plastic and circuitry.
