The surface was not sealed at the factory.
If somethoing happens to the undermount sink(like a toddler dropping a glass in it and cracking it), forget about finding a replacement. The undermount sink is not a normally carried size anywhere(homedepot or any others).

We bought this granite top in two different sizes to replace faux marble tops in our bathrooms. My husband said it was very easy to install. My only complaint is that it wasn't sealed. The 49" size wasn't sealed either. Kind of disappointed in that, but I still give it 5 stars because it was a bargain and is a great product!

Beautiful granite. The bowl is small, but since it's for a bathroom and a small cabinet, it is an appropriate size. Very easy to install. I absolutely love it.

We ordered two of these. The granite seems to be of good quality and attractive. The workmanship is average. The first top was not factory sealed as stated. I tried to seal it with a HD product myself, but it's not like a good factory seal. Moisture still discolors the top. Original color returns once the moisture dries in 1-2 days. The second top was factory sealed. So far no moisture discoloration. The front OG profile is off on one end though, showing the poor workmanship done on this 2nd top. Overall, I got what I paid for. And after many months of use, only the unsealed counter still upsets me. Those customers who rated higher than I maybe got a better product and workmanship that day.

Vanity top arrived in tact and as advertised. Bowl is a little small, but it is in the kids' bathroom so it doesn't matter. Even though they say it's factory sealed, buy a bottle and seal it before using. Great top for the money!

Beautiful - although the bowl is small, the counter space is nice and bowl is not too small for use in an all purpose bathroom (not just a powder room). Napoli is darker than I thought it would be but goes great with gray ceramic floor tile. Very classy. Couldn't be more satisfied with this product.

The product does not come sealed (i.e., when water gets on it, the granite gets darker in those spots until it dries. With 2 girls, it's not a pretty sight. Anyway, make sure you buy granite sealer. Otherwise it looks great with our new oak vanity.

I ordered this vanity top online and had it delivered to my house. It was packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. It's difficult to judge color based on a small online photo, but I was pleased with the color. I didn't have a chance to seal it before installing, but I should have. I had the same issue with water spots that other reviewers noted. I sealed it and it's much better now. It's a big improvement over the old vanity!

Bought this as a practice run for a bigger remodel. Replaced the old top and faucet in an afternoon. Picked it up at a local store, along with side splash.A couple of recommendations: open both the vanity and side splash to check the color match - they can be quite different! Also, pick up a sealer at HD and seal the top BEFORE installation (along with back and side splash). Doing this first prevented the water spotting others mention. Looking forward to the new double vanity in the master...

I recently purchased this vanity top. It looks beautiful. One thing to take note of is it discolors when wet however it's fine if you just wipe off the water when you are done. I intend to buy two more for the other vanities in my home.

I just installed the beige vanity top and designed the whole bathroom colour scheme around it. It looks great while dry. But I find that any water droplets cause a massive discoloration until it dries out. I have not seen this with other granite sinktops or counters. Perhaps it's a sealer issue. I am querying it with Home Depot Customer Service,

I cannot tell you what a difference this granite vanity top made in my aging bathroom. I love it. I painted the vanity and add a faucet and hardware to match and everyone was blown away at the difference in my bathroom. The granite has specks of colors picked in the bathroom paint color and other accessories. I intend to buy two more for the other bathrooms in my home.

I love this vanity! I have purchased it in the 48" and will purchase in the 31" length soon for another bathroom. The only problem is that the side splash was a different color than the vanity and I had to run around to find one that matched. the "beige" color can be browns or pinks/grays and it is difficult to get the pieces to match. Make sure you open all items BEFORE purchasing to match colors.
