First of all I love this screen door. It is sturdy and gorgeous and has a very cute vintage look to it. All that being said... my Dad is a "handyman" and fixes and installs most things in my house. He had to ask a contractor to come over and help him install this screen door. It comes fully assembled although beware it does NOT come with any hardware. I purchased the following (Richelieu Hardware Screen Door Kit Zinc) and it worked + an additional handle for inside the screen door to pull it closed. It also needed some of the bottom of the screen door sawed off to fit. Not for the average handyman to install, but overall it is a lovely door, I just wanted to pass along the info so you are fully aware before purchase. Thanks!

Plastic is tough to work with..so mortising would be a great plus..other than that it is very attractive and the wife likes it..what more could you ask for??

We wanted a screen door for our front door. We looked and looked. I got online and found this one. I wanted to see it first, so I went to the store. They did not have one in stock because it is an online purchase only. So I took a chance and ordered it.
I was not disappointed. It is beautiful and very easy to install. It is easy to clean and fits like it was customed made.
We have had compliments on it from family, friends and people just walking down the street in the neighborhood. I love the door and would recommend it to anyone, infact I have.
Too bad they don't carry it at the store, they would sell more. It is beautiful. My chance paid off.

I love the door, its exactly what I wanted - no maintenance. The scratch on the exterior of the door had to be overlooked due to the timeline we had to install it. We did not have time to reorder and wait for another door to be shipped.

We love this door! It is so beautiful and everyone comments on it. Our home went from good looking to great looking! We had trouble with the latch we put on, but that was not related to the door.
I would definitely recommend this door if you want to make a huge improvement for not that much money; it's well worth the price we paid for it.

It was super easy to install. We love the design. We don't use it much right now because of the weather but rest assured it will come in handy during the summer. Our dogs love it too because they each have their own side to peer through! The price is great too. Well worth it. You really can't go wrong with this door.

it is unfortunate that it was a screen door was looking for a storm door. I very much liked it though I returned it for a storm door. should I evefr have a need for just a screen door I would certainly purchase again. return was extremely easy.
