Customer Service was awesome! I fault myself for this purchase. I bought over the internet instead of going to store and checking out the features. I was so pleased with my older Amana. I thought another Amana purchase would be a no brainer.

Wanted basic washer and dryer, manual controls. People seemed to like this model. Been using it only two weeks but like so far. Time will tell. What I was most impressed with was the home delivery service that Home Depot contracted with. Very professional and friendly!

Dryer is excellent. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but has all the features we need. Especially like the Automatic/Wrinkle Free drying setting which is something we didn't have on our old dryer. Delivery was only three days later from date of purchase on-line, which is impressive. Overall, very good purchase; reliable dryer at a great price.

We'd had it with our 5 year old front loader when it broke down, and wanted something reliable, without the computerized controls which are so costly to repair. I couldn't bring myself to buy a new dryer that has those digital controls without also buying the longest extended warranty available to go with it. This easily brings the lowest cost for any dryer like that close to a thousand dollars, which was not in the budget.
This dryer has the basic necessary controls like older machines have, and I know that if something does go wrong with it eventually, it will be something I can diagnose and repair myself.
We're very happy with the dryer's performance, and the wrinkle guard is worth the extra few dollars. We got it delivered for free, and for less total cost than other local suppliers.
The capacity is enormous, and we like it so much, we may sell the 5 year old, still working washer that was part of our original set, and put the money toward the matching washer.

Does what it says on the tin. Cheapest gas dryer I could find that has both an interior light, and wrinkle guard (my two requirements). I was surprised at how quickly it dried my clothes... I was waiting for a pair of pants and pulled them out after 15 minutes expecting them to still be soaking... they were barely damp. Laundry smells a bit "hot" if you pull it out early, but that dissipates if you let it run the full cycle. I'm happy with this one.

This is the best dryer that I have ever owned. The features are great especially the Wrinkle feature. THe drying time has been cut in half from what it used to be. I would highly recommend this product to others.
