Good product but night vision failed

I purchased the 3003 and the 1001 and both work just fine with the exception of the night vision not working on the 3003 after about 3 months. I'm able to view my home from the web, iphone and Droid...unfortunately, this is another one of those non-business situations where the Blackberry doesn't work...and yoics works great as well. I would recommend this camera but given that the night vision failed, I would have bought a wireless version with no night vision for less money if it were offered - but it's not. The 1001 must be wired and tied to your router.

Not so "Easy-Connect"

This camera is fine if you only want to only VIEW in one hour intervals through YOICS. It's WAY more difficult if you want to view more than an hour, record, play back or watch on your cell phone!!!! I was getting e-mail notifications with a picture when my motion sensor was tripped (about 400/day), but that no longer is working (and I haven't changed any of the settings). I also was able to view and listen to my camera all day while at work, but that is no longer working either so I might have to take the whole thing back after 2 months of trying to set up and figure out how to work it. I have also tried to log onto my camera on every cell phone at every cell phone store like the manufacturer states was possible and was never able to get that to work. If you buy this camera you will need plenty of computer skills and patience.

My wife & I bought this camera for my 7yr old son’s bedroom for when she is at work & I have to do reports on the computer from home. I attached a spare monitor I had to my laptop so I could have the software on at all times on the spare monitor. It works great even when he turns off his lights to play with his glow in the dark toys or play fort.
