This is a great dryer! Like it's companion washing machine, I bought this for an amazing price at Home Depot. It couldn't have been a better time or a better price to make the purchase. Home Depot has the best customer service, and the free delivery was a bonus. The dryer is sturdy, yet simple and easy to use. Drys quickly and very thoroughly.

I am SO pleased with my new dryer. Works great, delivery FAR exceeded my expectations. These young men were very careful and knowledgable!!! My only concern is whether or not the lint remover apparatus will hold up to being removed and put back in over time.

Despite the Maytag name and great price, this dryer is not worth purchasing. Number of issues with it (and I am comparing it to my 18 yr old Maytag that did a great job):
- clothes do not dry wrinkle free
- filter is difficult to pull out and creates lint and dust all over
- door is flimsy and hard to open
- clothes come out inconsistent, some may be fried and some will still be damp
- air fluff cycle too short

The machine has very large capacity and may be good for doing a large comforter or multiple sets of sheets. But for day to day type laundry, it stinks.
My salesmen said to put a service all in since it is brand new and I will try that. But I suspect this is just a low end poor quality product.

The price on this dryer is fabulous and it does everything I need it to do. I love that the warning buzzer is loud - so I can hear it when I'm upstairs (laundry room is in the basement). The auto-dry works for me on the efficiency setting - gets things to fully dry, even a load of towels. So far, I love this appliance!
Also love that I got free delivery, installation and haul away of my old appliance. Makes everything pretty painless.

We do alot of laundry
have had this dryer only a month but it is quieter than our last one
first dryer I ever saw without a temp setting
temp and timer all in one
it is a no frills cheap dryer that seems to do its job
fits us fine
got free delivery and pickup of dead one
delivery was just that
legs were in a bag inside dryer we did hook up
just needed a screwdriver
have had this dryer only a month but it is quieter than our last one

I love Maytag products and have always had a Maytag washer and dryer. This is a very good dryer, not a great dryer.
Pros:
* Super large capacity, you could insert a large thick sleeping bag.
* I love the light in the drum.
* The lint screen is on top.
* A decent variety of settings.
* Got it at a super price!
Cons:
* The dryer does not always dry everything during the first run, especially if there are heavy fabrics to dry.
* The drum is very low to the ground, so if you have a bad back, avoid this dryer unless you can elevate it.

I've been using the washer (and matching dryer) for about a month now. We are a 4-person household, and I can tell you that it holds WAY more than my last washer. I love that I can choose small, medium, or super size loads - that really helps with color sorting. It is quieter than my last model, also. Love it!

Love this dryer. The set-up and delivery was fast and friendly. Especially like the energy savings settings on both high and low heat. This dryer is used outside on our patio in the mountains. Looking forward to using it weekly while the rainy season is here. The spaciousness of the dryer bin can hold a Queen size comforter with ease and its dry time is quick! So far, after 2 weeks of use- this dryer rocks!

I HAVE BEEN OUT OF WORK FOR OVER TWO YEARS. NO INCOME, AND A TEENAGE DAUGHTER. FIVE MONTHS AGO, BOTH MY OLD WASHER AND DRYER GAVE OUT. SO I HAD TO GO TO LAUNDRY MAT,( ALMOST HAVE TO TAKE A LOAN OUT TO GO THERE), MOM'S HOUSE, OR MY SISTERS TO DO MY LAUNDRY. AND IT WAS NOT FUN HAULING BASKETS, IN AND OUT OF THE CAR, UP AND DOWN STEPS, AND SOMETIMES DRIVE IT 30 MILES TO ONE SISTERS HOUSE, JUST TO DO LAUNDRY.BUT TO MY SUPRISE, MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS ALL GOT TOGETHER AND GOT ME A NEW PAIR OF MAYTAG CENTENNIAL WASHER AND DRYER SET FROM HOME DEPOT IN CHASKA,MN.. IT IS JUST AWESOME, AND OVERWHELMING THAT THEY DID THIS FOR ME. I LOVE THEM! AND NOW I HAVE CLEAN CLOTHES. THE WASHER AND DRYER SET IS JUST BEAUTIFUL! I WANT TO WASH CLOTHES EVERY DAY. It looks just beautiful and runs pretty quite. I've only used it a couple times, but it works just awesome. My only complaint is the no heat cycle is very short.

Another great deal from Home Depot,and Maytag. The delivery went off without a hitch. The dryer drum is big and can dry comforters without a problem. The dryer takes less time to dry. The door handle is lose when pulled on,but does not come off. The lint filter seemed flimsy,but actually works better than my last dryer. The top front corner of the dryer lifts up a little but does not affect function. We got this on sale, $249.00. The flaws are minor and do not affect the function of this machine. This was a great value for the price.We buy all major appliances,and products from Home Depot because they honor their sales and service conracts they make with us.

I bought this dryer and the matching washer online on Cyber-Monday due to the good reviews and great price. I just wanted a no-frills, basic machine. I really wasn't expecting much. I was more than surprized to find both units to be very nice looking, very sturdy, with large capacity. The delivery men were great, hooked everything up, and made sure all was level and working properly. I've done a ton of laundry, and am very happy with my purchase. I esp. like the automatic dry selections for low and high heat. For the money, you cannot beat these basic Maytags.

The delivery agent came to deliver my dryer got it all hooked up and turned it on, and it made a very loud chattering sound. A week later another dryer comes, get it all hooked up it does not get hot! So now my GE dryer will be here next week. Apparently Maytag does not check their products before they leave the factory, so I would not reccomend them at all. One defective dryer is OK but 2 in a row!?! Not good!!
