This dryer has a large drum-seems bigger than a 7.0, a large door opening, and dries clothes very well. For this extremely low price, you won't get the extras (steam, time remaining, touch up, etc), but it gets the job done. I have mainly used the energy saver cycle and it has done very well. It actually dries better than some previous, more expensive dryers I've had with the extra features. The only con is the lint trap being on top can be a little messy. I've found that if you use a fabric softener sheet to clean it out, the mess is minimized. The only thing I'm unsure of is which cycle is the best to use for touch-ups. Overall, great dryer for an outstanding value. I hope it lasts.

I like this dryer. It's easy to operate, dries great, will handle a big load. I appreciate the little things too, like it has a good light inside, and a solid door that swings smoothly and closes firmly. The home depot delivery guys were great, on time, total pros. Make sure your door opens to the side that is correct for your space and if its not, they will switch it for you on the spot.

We've had this dryer for 2 weeks now, and we love it. It has a great setting called "Energy Preferred" that I use almost every time. It gets everything dry, even jeans, and I like the fact that I'm not wasting energy by running the dryer on full/top speed/heat.
I've even set the dial a little below the Energy Preferred setting when I was drying t-shirts and other light things, and it worked just great.
The buzzer is a little loud and annoying. It scared me and made me jump once when I was standing right there. It's got a nice feature that prevents wrinkles. The buzzer will go off when the clothes are ready, but if you don't hear it, or can't get to the dryer right away, it will continue to "fluff" your clothes for a few more minutes until you come open the dryer.
I don't know how long this feature goes for, I've only had to use it once or twice. I didn't go get the clothes right away, and it continued to cycle/dry. Then it buzzed a second time, but still didn't shut off. It's a nice feature to keep your clothes from getting wrinkles if you're too busy to get them out right away.
All in all, great dryer at a great price. I would recommend this to friends and family.

tHIS DRYER IS WONDERFUL. OUR DRYER BLEW OUT AND WE HAD TO BUY A NEW ONE. WE DIDNT HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO PURCHASE ONE AND THEN WHILE SHOPPING ON HERE I FOUND THIS ONE! I LOVE THE PRICE OF THE DRYER AND IT DOES NOT MAKE A LOT OF NOISE AT ALL! IT DRIES VERY WELL AND I LOVE THE FACT THAT THE TIMER HAS 70 MINUTES AVAILABLE FOR USE INSTEAD OF 60. WHAT A WONDERFUL PRODUCT ,IT IS SO WORTH IT! BY THE WAY ITS NICE AND CLEAN LOOKING IN APPERANCE TO. I WILL BE PURCHASING THE WASHER SOON AS WELL! I HAVE HAD IT FOR ONE MONTH NOW AND I LOVE IT!!

After taking quit awhile to deliver (order 11/22 and delivered 12/8) I installed it myself including gas hookups. So far everything seems to be working as advertised. Hope it lasts like the old Maytags but I've been told they've outsourced for cheap foreign parts like all the others.

This dryer works well and was easy to hook up to the gas ourselves with the flex-tube kit (which was optional with the purchase online). It dries faster than my old Kenmore. It runs quieter also. I wish it had a medium setting, but so far it has not produced wrinkles so maybe it doesn't need that setting. It is a great value for the cost.

The perfect size for my big blankets and I love the sensor that allows me to move on with my chores without having to worry if the clothes will be overdry,I also like that the clothes are cool to the touch when you get them out,no more burning with hot buttons/zippers :) and last but not least I like the price.

It's a big size dryer. Easy to install and use it. We use it a lot for our wash and fold. This is Maytag brand. We use Maytag dryer for years. The price is reasonable. We like it very much.

my wife finally agreed the Maytag dryer we had been using for 23 years was ready to go. It was no longer capable of doing it's job and was probably also a fire hazard. I was vacuming out the filter constantly and saw no improvement. We decided to get another Maytag and stick with a toploader. What an improvement(s) over 23 years, It is HUGE inside - and well lit. Drying time is great and I am sure it is using less electricity, as well. Great machine overall and will buy another one 23 years from now when we are in our 80's.

I have had my dryer for a couple of weeks now and have had no problems with it. It does a good job of drying and the buzzer that notes the end of drying time can be heard at least one floor above the dryer. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Ecellent quality at low price for this product with outstanding performance. Earlier we purchased the Centennial Washer which convinced us to buy the Gas dryer. We just purchased the Maytag Centennial Dryer MGDC400VW, and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering purchasing a new dryer. The price was right at $329 for the gas dryer, which regularly sells for $479. The dryer has a capacity of 7 cubic feet, which dries a lot of clothes at once. There is also a light inside the dryer so you can see what you are doing. The machine runs quietly and has a sensor that automatically shuts the dryer off when the clothes are dry. You can also choose a timed dry cycle and select the amount of time you would like the dryer to run. On the high heat setting, there is a nice option called "wrinkle prevent," which periodically starts and stops the dryer, tumbling the load without heat to avoid wrinkling. This dryer is easy to use, quiet and efficiently dries clothes by shutting itself off automatically when your laundry load is dry. I would give it a thumbs up!
