I received this dryer about a month ago and it has worked very well. I got it with a matching maytag washer. I love that the moisture sensor actually works on this model, i've noticed some complaints about that on the maytag models lower than this one. I've tried putting a dry load back in, it goes for about 10 min and then starts cool down. Varies to dry depending on spin speed of my washer. An average full load of clothes w/o jeans takes about 25 to 30 min if they were spun fast, 40-45 if they were spun low.

My first complaint w/ the dryer, is when you turn the main knob, it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. It's not a smooth dial at all and it sounds like metal against metal. My second complaint is a big one... the clothes don't ever dry in one cycle. I even spent $100 to have my dryer vents cleaned out and I STILL can't dry my clothes completely after a 50 minute cycle.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This dryer is great. It dries evenly, and has a large capacity. We are very pleased with the purchase. Even though maytag has changed, the quality is still here. Customer service at the Home Depot has been great too.

I bought this dryer to replace my four year old GE that was getting ready to die. I decided to go with Maytag since all my kitchen appliance I purchased have been wonderful. This dryer is very quiet and much larger than my previous dryer. No worry about wrinkles here and everything dries alot quicker. Quality and solid construction. Great value and you can't go wrong with it.

I received the dryer on time but they were unable to attach the vent I ordered as it wasn't long enough. So I had to go to Home DEpot and purchase venting. They are still refunding me the amount I had paid for the vent. We had someone else hook up the venting and then we were all set. It only took a few minutes to install. We have used the Maytag dryer several times already and we love the sensor dried clothes. The knobs are attractive and easy to use.

I am so very pleased with this dryer. It is quiet and seems to dry much faster than my old dryer. Also, the clothes seem to come out much more fluffy and with less wrinkles than with my old dryer. Perfection!

We needed a new drier to replace the 15 year Maytag. This is similar in style and features and trust it will work as well. Delivery was excellent. I had to switch the door and that was a little confusing but the drier works great. I definitely recommend it if you want a plain drier that will dry clothes with out all the unnecessary bells and whistles. I like the basic models for things like this but it does have a moisture sensor and that is a great plus.

I have owned this dryer 3 weeks now and wow! It dryes realy fast and being that the drum is larger there are not as many wrinkles when I forget to get the clothes out. If you buy this dryer you will not be disapointed.

I've only had this dryer for a few weeks but it's such a hugh improvment over my old one that I wish I'd purchased it months ago. It has a sensor which accurately leaves the items as dry or damp and I choose. It drys quickly and has a hugh capacity (I wash big loads). The end-of-cycle buzzer is loud enough that I can hear it upstairs. No more forgetting to hang up my delicates before they wrinkle.

We appreciate the filter on the front; much easier than those on the top and behind, which spill lint all over the place. The side door is much easier to use than the fold down door of the Whirlpool dryer it replaced.
The dryer is deep, and care needs to be taken in the installation (proper L-connections, etc.) to put it close enough to the wall so it doesn't stick out farther than the washer.

Purchased this dryer at the beginning of the month, and it has run great. It's efficient at drying the clothes, VERY quiet (I can't tell it's running when I'm upstairs, HUGE change from the last dryer!!) The only problem is that the end of cycle buzzer stopped working, but I'm going to call Maytag on the warranty, then come back and update this review based on how the warranty work goes.
