This was my first greaseless fryer and I must admit I was skeptical since I had mastered the turkey fried in peanut oil. Nonetheless, since the price of peanut oil is so high, the price per pound of fried turkey is a pretty penny.
At any rate the product arrived as promised and was packaged very good. Assembly was easy enough but it did take me about an hour since I did not have all of my tools together.
Also, the enclosed cookbook has excellent suggestions and I am anxious to try some of the recipes.
Now to the crux of my review. My turkey turned out excellent. The frying instructions were clear and the meshed metal cover provides the perfect browning effect to suit your taste. My turkey was so good and juicy that my family insisted that I fry another one after the holidays. The best investment I've made in 2011!

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. We had fried a turkey for Thanksgiving in a borrowed fryer and he wanted to do another at Christmas. Did some research and this kept popping up with great reviews. Best gift ever! It takes a little longer to cook but no oil and we think it came out better than our bird with the oil. We even had a local resturaunt use it when they were in a bind and they were very pleased. Now we are looking for more things to cook in this baby. At least twice a week now!

Cooked first turkey in a little over 2 hours. Just as easy as the oven and tasted awesome.
Cant wait to try other foods. Would definately recommend to anyone!

I went to buy peanut oil for the deep-fry turkey cooker I borrowered from a friend. The store I visited was sold out. In speaking to the helpful employees and checking stock at the next closest store, I did the math. I could buy this cooker and it would pay for itself in 2-3 uses vs. buying the oil. No Brainer and better for my health.

foloow the directions setting up and cooking... turkey is excellent moist and juicey but cooked all the way thru... large chix are the same... big roasts are incredible... use a rib or just s&p... bake the potatoes on top... and no danger from oil... there isnt any !!!

I bought this for my soon to be son-in-law for his birthday. He loves to cook on the grill so I thought this would be a great addition to his outside kitchen. He loves it!!! He's made a whole chicken and a pork roast and they were amazing! Very tender and juicy! I may get one for myself!

I haven't used this product yet but it is put together, the instructions have been read, and I'm just waiting to try this badboy out. A friend has one and he is super pleased wtih his so I can't wait to give it a go for me. The control knobs are cheap on this thing and seem like they will break at some point but other than that, it's well constructed. I just need to go ahead and buy up the accessories now with it so I'll have it if I need it!

i thoroughly coated the turkey (skin & meat) with a Roasted Peanut oil from the Asian food section of grocery store before placing it in cooker & this was the BEST turkey i have ever had (sorry, Dad!); it was FANTASTIC tasting & there were little leftovers from family meal. Moist, crispy, flavorful, & healthy too!!! Product was easy to assemble (FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!), & it comes complete with recipies/accesories just waiting for a thawed turkey to cook!!!

the oil less fryer worked good, it doesn't get very crispy on the outside like we expected, but it was juicy (turkey). It took an hour or so longer than we anticipated but the cold weather could have had something to do with that.

Good value for the money. Turkey comes out properly cooked but not as "moist" as when deep fried. Overall i was pleased with the fryer and it's a nice plus to have a free oven to do other baking while the turkey cooks outside. As a drawback, I think the product should include a grill plate for cooking veggies.

We decided against a fryer because of the oil. Then we found this oil-less fryer that was 1/3 less in price than other stores. My husband used it right away after seasoning it as described in the directions, and it worked perfectly. I can't describe how moist the meat was. It was great! What a wonderful fryer and buy.

Have been using deep fryer for years - very happy with results. Too many news stories of burning houses made me consider this. Very happy, cooking takes a little more time but getting ready, cool down and cleanup are minimal. Best part is getting drippings to make gravy. I've done two so far and even without any "rubs" they were very moist and tasty.

So far I used the oil-less fryer with a Turkey and Boston roast. I very satisfied with the results the meat taste great. Only make sure you plan your cooking with plenty time.
