I insulated my attic with the bat-version of this stuff and actually enjoyed working with it versus the usual glass insulation. I used the radiant barrier to fab a cover for the attic stairs and it is just rigid enough to stand up over the folded stairs after I ducttaped the corners together. I also lined the inside top of my radiator covers so I could place stuff on top of them and not burn anything. So far, so good.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I initially purchased this insulation to add to my hot tub to reduce heating costs in the winter. The installation process was fairly easy - the material itself is very easy to work with, provided you have some heavy-duty cutting shears. After a few hours of work, I had lined my hot tub with the insulation completely.
After monitoring the energy used by the hot tub over the course of a winter, I was surprised to find that I was saving around $100 a month (in the coldest months) in electricity heating the hot tub under similar conditions to the two prior years. Needless to say, I was quite pleased. I also noticed that the hot tub required less time to heat up, and it retained heat significantly longer than without the insulation.
With the remaining insulation from the project, I decided to use it on my garage door to reduce energy transfer there. Installation was also extremely easy - I used a 3M adhesive tape to attach it to the door. The insulation is light enough that nothing else was required. The garage now has a noticeably more stable temperature, and ii just happens to look rather space-age on the inside.
I would highly recommend this to any homeowner who wants to reduce their heating and cooling costs. This is perfect for a good many projects and very easy to use.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Good for the environment and also you dont have to deal with any of that foam rubber burning tire smell that foam tube insulation comes with. My whole apartment reeked, but so far so good with this blanket wrapped around the pipe.
Yes, I recommend this product.

We are using this product in several applications and it is a fantastic product. We needed a sound barrier as well as insulator so we used it behind our cedar siding. It is easy enough to cut and to handle. We'll be using Ultra Touch Cotton Insulkation on the interior as well since it is also eco-friendly (no itchy fiberglass fibers) and is a great insulator and sound barrier.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I placed the radiant barrier in my attic above my bed rooms up stairs, This space has not been open scence the house was built in the 50's. Just with the barrier alone i could tell the difference in temp. in bed rooms. There was about a 1/2 inch of dust up there and the cotten help with keeping the dust from kicking up to much! Great product easy to use and no iching!!!!!!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I found this product to be exactly as described. It's easy to work with, soft and flexible. It works as a great sound barrier too.
I plan to install it on my entire first floor. I'm just bummed I didn't know about it when I redid the second floor!!
Yes, I recommend this product.
