This grill doesn't have some of the features of cheaper grills but it appears to be made to last. It cooks really evenly all over the surface. I'm used to grills rusting out in about 5 or 6 years. I think this one will last much longer. By the way, if you want really good grates, you have to buy it at Home Depot. If you get it a at Lowes, you'll get thin ceramic thin grates that appear to be really cheap.

I have had the spirit e-310 for about one month and I have to say this is the best grill I have ever own. The reason I got it at hd was it came with cast iron gatte.

I have had this grill for about a month, and am pleased so far. The reviews that rate this as a quality item are correct. In my opinion, it is expensive but will outlive the cheaper alternatives. I even offered to pay cash, but there were no deals to be had.
I had mine delivered, and assembled it myself. The directions are very clear. Just make sure you use the correct screws for the particular part of the instructions. The self-tapping screws are for the plastic parts. It took me about two hours to assemble, but that was with two little boys enamoured with every stage of the grill's assembly. It was worth the time. And it started right up. I also like the high-end grates that only Home Depot offers for this lower end product.

We love our new Weber Spirit Grill. $399 was a stretch for us for a grill, but it's by far superior to any other grill that I've ever used. It's high quality and has very even grilling. We use the grill a lot more now than we used any previous ones, because it's much more fun. The only downside is that I kinda wish I "bit the bullet" and bought the next size up. It's a fine size for our family of four but if we're having a bunch of people over for dinner, we'd be crunching items onto the grill. Great grill and you'll love the quality.

After 10 or so years and a couple of moves, my old gas BBQ gave up the ghost. I bought one on special last fall (cheap off brand-thinking-what's the difference...) After burning burgers to a crisp and some really good steaks to well done without any way to control the fire I gave it away.
This spring I did a lot of research and decided to spend the extra hundred or so dollars for a BBQ without all of the fancy features. Am I glad I did. I love this BBQ.

ASSEMBLY:
Took about 90 minutes, was easy and the directions are clear. (If anyone doubts this try to put together one of the off brand units) As I assembled the quality really stuck out. It wasn't the last screw that tightened the whole thing together. It was tight and strong with every screw and bolt.

BBQ'ing:
I started with some Pork Steaks, perfectly done, never flamed up. Great BBQ marks from the Iron Grill. Then I did some burgers, same results. This weekend we had some friends over, here was the big test. I BBQ 8-20% fat burgers and 4 hot dogs, not a single flair up, plenty of room, could have done 12 burgers and 12 hot-dogs (on the warming grill) without an issue. They were delicious.
DESIGN:
A couple of features that I now consider bells and whistles!
The ingenious way the bottom of the BBQ is designed to drain to the far left. you don't end up with this fatty hotspot under the center, it is literally draining to the side away from cooking.
The Propane tank holder. We have all fought with these. There is a solid base with a circle cut out, the tank fits in perfectly and upright. Easy in and out.
Doors-wow, didn't know I would love these. These are also real doors, not a single piece of aluminum, but rather a built door.
Heats up fast! 600 degrees in 5 or so minutes.
Cast Iron Grates-apparently only available at Home Depot, boy, these are fun to play with. Heavy, beautiful and easy to make professional looking BBQ marks in the meat. Did Criss Cross on some pork last night.

Product was not extremely difficult to assemble and set up. Weber has made significant strides in. the increased quality of their gas grill. The only fly in the ointment was the overall shipped condition of the grill, (UPS).

No flare-ups is very important because the wife doesnt like burnt food:) The flavorizer bars (you know the ones that cover the burners right under the cooking grates) are so inteligently-designed that when grease falls on them it doesnt linger there, instead, it quickly burns just enough to give your food the smoky flavor and then immediately dripps down into the drip pan underneath. Even when I ran all 3 burners on high for 10 mins with the lid closed, my burgers and/or steaks did not get burned because there were no additional flames going inside other than the ones from the burners.
Of course, the drip pan underneath needs to be cleaned periodically - I do it after 3 or 4 grilling sessions and it’s been working great for me so far.
The only other disclaimer I have is that food that’s not very greasy (like skinless chicken breast) will stick to the cast-iron cooking grates if they are not oiled properly before and during grilling.

Got this grill at local home depot for $299.00 + tax (there was a wrong tag on the grill!! and they gave it to me for the same price ). Very sturdy, even temperatures. Would have been happy even if I had paid the regular price.

We'v had this grill two years now, and it grills just as well now as before. The only problem is that the ignition button doesn't work now, but it is easy to start manually with a butane grill lighter. Grill heats quickly and grilling area is large enough to cook a variety of foods at the same time. Such a great grill that we just bought one for my son.

I put this grill together and I must say it was a simple process. Get a friend or spouse to help with the unboxing if you do decide to put it together yourself. Once out of the box, it is pretty much downhill from there. I had no parts left over and ever part fit like a glove. I didn't have to bend, force, or pry any part into place. It just fit. The instructions are good and use diagrams and icons instead of text.
After I got together, I was curious about seasoning the grill but that wasn't necessary. Just warm it up for 10 minutes on high and coat what you cook in olive oil to prevent sticking.
Weber has the best warranty around. Check it out at there website.
Most of the other grills have a "Limited" 1 year warranty.
Love it.

This is an excellent grill. It cooks evenly and wow does this grill get hot! The thermostat pegs at 600 degrees in several minutes. I only wish now that I spent the extra $100 and purchased the genesis. It feels more sturdy, and heavy duty.Still I do love the way it cooks, and would recommend to friends.

I bought this grill after using a cheap Char-Broil grill for about 8 years. It finally fell apart enough that I couldn't keep it held together. I have used Weber's charcoal grills many times, but I had not used one of their gas grills. I read a lot of reviews of various gas grills and finally settled on this one as the sweet spot between size, features, quality, and price.
It was time-consuming, but simple to put together. It is very sturdy, and feels like it will last a long time, but only time will tell. The biggest improvement I see in this grill over my old one is the temperature control. This grill can get both hotter (good for steaks and burgers) and cooler (good for veggies and pizza) than the cheap ones. The temperature is much more uniform across the entire grate area, too.
Speaking of grates, I love the cast iron grates that come with this grill when purchased from Home Depot. That is the single reason I purchased it here rather than from Amazon.
This grill has been great for the short amount of time I have owned it. I hope it lasts many years.

I replaced my 19 year old Weber Spirit w/ this grill. It is a great grill with even temperatures across all the grate. I specifically purchased this from Home Depot because they have an exclusive agreement with Weber to provide cast iron grates which retain the heat and provide nice grill marks on fish, fowl, beef and pork. The grill is solidly built and was assembled in just over and hour, If you have it assembled at the store you need a van or pickup to haul it. You can use a station wagon if you take it home in the box. You will need to men to carry it since it's 143lbs in the box and very bulky.

I've own other propane grill, and they were ok. They use good materials, great warranty, starts every time. Everything cooks great, I use cook with this grill at least once aweek if not more. Thanks Weber

My first Weber lasted 10yrs and would have lasted longer had I not stripped out a part and couldn't stop a gas leak. I am very happy with this new one, I like the newer strike lighter, the third burner for indirect heat, size and the fact it is on four coater wheels. The grills and flavor bars can be replaced as I have done in the past. The metal gauge is thinner than my decade old grill. I have concerns about rust on the cabinet but with a cover and proper care I feel we will both have a long relationship. I have to say, comparing my Weber to other grills that I looked at, the Weber was still of greater quality. I also have a small charcoal Weber I use when camping and I am very happy with it also. Finally, having a store like Home Depot to get your Weber parts is greatly appreciated.

The only complaint I have about this purchase is some of the grill's components were not assembled. We didn't know this until we turned it on and used it. Home Depot was supposed to assemble this grill but left a few parts. No biggie.
The grill cooks good and replaced my 13 year old Kenmore gas grill. I wish a cover was included in the price but will buy one shortly. So far, after almost a month and a handful of bbq's, we look forward to using the grill even more.
