I just finished assembling my Weber. My first Weber lasted 30 years and I finally had to retire it this year. I moved up to the 26 3/4 grill. I wish companies would actually make instructions with written words, and not just illustrations. It would make the assembly quicker than it is. Upon opening the box, found the the lid was scratched in 4 places. Looks like it was rubbing something in the packaging. Maybe Weber should consider bubble wrapping it? Found that the front leg was also damaged out of the box. The cleaning system seems a bit flimsy, and somewhat warped out of shape, making removal a challange. Overall, it's a "big boy" charcoal BBQ.
I called the Weber customer service and they are sending replacement parts, should have them within 7-10 days. The CSR was very polite, professional, and friendly, and, located in the USA.

I have owned Weber grills most of my adult life and this is the Grand Daddy of grills. You can cook for an Army of people.

I was very excited about my new Weber grill. As I was taking it out of the box I noticed there was a small circle that was without the traditional black paint. The metal was bare. Luckily I had some high quality enamel at home and took care of it, but my thoughts were that this was a bad sign. As I began putting it together the quality of the legs seem very cheap and pretty much everything below the kettle leaves a lot more to be desired. It should be noted though that I had high expectations because Weber's quality is so well known.
When it comes to cooking though, I've never cooked on a charcoal grill that cooks so evenly and dependably every time. The size as it always does, matters. This weekend I cooked 6 t-bones, 8 ears of corn, 6 sweet potatoes, 3 chicken breast, and a pack of hot dogs all at the same time. The Weber design when it comes to the kettle is genius in that I can also cook a small amount just as well. Overall I would recommend this product because it cooks so well.

For well over $300.00, I was disappointed with the quality of the product. I had a Weber years ago and I dont remember it being this cheaply made. It does cook great, I have to give it that, but I wish I had gone to Home Depot and checked it out before I purchased it online. Not to blame Weber at all, but the top dome was damaged upon arrival. Two large dents were on the lid when I unpacked it. The ceramic and enamel were gone from these places and these dents have already rusted. Had to gently bang these dents out in order for the top to fit to the bottom. UPS was the delivery carrier.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I purchased this grill for my husband for Father's Day. According to the web site it had the best reviews of the Weber charcoal grills. Grilling space is huge, great for much poolside entertaining we do. My husband seems to like the easy clean up trap below the grill. Came with suggested grill recipes. Grilled pineapple...who'd have thought? It was awesome with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!!! Although it is not relevant to the product, I feel the need to mention that I ordered it on Thursday, not expecting it to arrive before Father's Day because I was told there was 3-5 day delivery, it arrived the following day! Fantastic! The other thing I want to mention is that my husband went out and got the little stand to slow cook a chicken with beer...THE BEST, juiciest, golden brown chicken I have ever tasted! A must if you have this or any charcoal grill! Planning to grill a variety of meats/vegetables with different sauces and spices and having a day of tasting with friends and neighbors Highly recommend this fantastic grill.

The lid on the grill was damaged which had to have occurred at the factory and not during shipping. The lid was inverted into the base for shipping and there were no visible signs of damage to the base. The lid looks like someone hit it twice with a ball peen hammer. The legs were crushed somewhat which will weaken them but they work for the time being.

The grill arrived in just a few day's and took less than a half hour to assemble. The large grill area has enough space to grill 10 rib eye steaks. The cleaning system does a good job with removing the ash without making a mess.The tuck away lid holder is very convenient.
I have had this grill for a few weeks and have used it several times. Although on the expensive side it is made from quality material. I would recommend this grill to a friend.

I gave this grill to my husband for his Birthday this year. He has always cooked our Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys on a Weber. Oh, so juicy and golden brown! When I found the large kettle I had to get it for him. He slow cooked a 24# turkey for Thanksgiving. We have two gas grills but there isn't anything better than good old charcoal gilled burgers and steaks, not to mention turkeys. I can't say enough abou this grill. You won't go wrong with a Weber. If the 26.75" is too large for your needs the smaller ones cook just as well. WAY TO GO WEBER!

I owned the smaller version of this grill for about six years and i had no problems at all with it. I always thought though that i needed a bigger grill which i finally bought. Now i have plenty of space to cook for a big or a small company.
This grill is made even stronger than the one i had before and it looks like it's going to last me a very long time.
The tuck-away lid folder is a great feature that allows you to open the lid easily, taking virtually no space or effort at all.
There is also a thermometer for the epicurean chef.
What impressed me the most though is Weber's great customer service. There was a small damage on the grill from shipping and Weber replaced the parts in no time without any questions at all.

don't think that you are paying extra for the Weber name, you are paying for a great grill that you can grill with, and also smoke some great food. Don't buy charcoal fuel holders to smoke with, this model comes with them.Large cooking area is awesome. If you do alot of smoking make sure you clean under side of lid of creosote build up, periodically.Used the live chat service on the Homedepot web page that helped out greatly with product details.

A BBQ is about people hanging out and relaxing, and charcoal really helps make it more of an art. This grill has a huge surface area, it takes one regular size bag of charcoal to get a thin layer to cover the charcoal rack (one whole bag!). The heat is great, goes together easy. My lid was dinged on delivery (had to order, but shipping was free so I just had to wait a few days). But I sent Weber an E-mail and five days later had a brand new lid, they didn't want the old one back so I just bent the first lid ding out and used the grill the day I got it, great customer service.

I was not able to find the product in a store in my metro area so I ordered on-line. Ordering was easy, delivery was perfect- box was not damaged. Assembly directions were strait forward and I had it assembled in 30 minutes. Very impressed with the capacity and amenities of the grill. It far exceeds my expectations with the features (temp gauge on lid, rotating lid, liftable grates to add additional charcoal).
