I hesitated purchasing this because it was more expensive than others that looked the same... BUT... it is quiet and Powerful! If you are hesitant, just go for it... its a great fan! Its used for work and seems to be built good so as to last as well. HD delivered on time too!

this is the better of the types due to the amount of intake holes,which helps it move the air and easier to clean the intake screen. it is great for the home or garage. the price was consistant with other stores but home depot had it in stock in there warehouse. alot of the stores had similare models but the intake was air limiting.

We have a similar fan, but this one is by far a lot more efficient and with lower noise. It is smaller, but the same shape. We will buy another soon.

Although I have not had the opportunity to use it yet, I loaned it to my daughter who said I works great. The design is great, identical to expensive units used by professionals whom I recently hired to dry out carpet as a result of a mojor water leak. I inspected it upon arrival and found it to do everthing it was advertised to do. I can't imagine it not meeting my expectations of being a very versatile fan doing everything plus more than all other different types of fans combined.

This fan is fairly quiet, and it moves a HUGE amount of air. On warm days I set it in front of my treadmill to help stay cool. Slightly more expensive than comparable models, but well worth the price. Well made.

I have a number of these blowers set up all over the house 3 of them run full time in filter boxes as I am extremely allergic. 2 of them have been running continuously for 2 years, the last one I purchased, is for the back porch (no, it is not rain proof, you do have to bring it in!), to set in front of the mister hose to 'cool us' as we survive this Texas draught/heat spell.
Relatively quiet (certainly FAR quieter than a blade fan for the same volume), extremely powerful and apparently indestructible. I'd buy another at twice the price. In fact, I am going to get one for my boat, as I spend time there with my dogs and hair gets EVERYWHERE!

For a few bucks more to get the upgrade and this blower, it is really worth it. I'm working in the hottest summer TX has ever had and the air this fan moves makes the heat almost tolerable. A real buy for the money.

This rock-solid fan would impress Aeolus. It's a little too powerful to have directly pointing towards me from less than 10 feet, but it's surprisingly quiet considering the blast of air it provides.

recieved as promised.....this thing blows! and thats a good thing. Have it outside on patio for the dog, he likes it too. Really, low put out a lot of air and high....forgetaboutit! highly recommend ....oh and this is bigger than the similar stanley model.

Product blows hard in precise location. Not strong enough. Blower fell 3 feet on first day and came apart. This is supposed to be a "pro" fan. In construction, equipment falls all the time. Disappointed in tuffness of product.

Although I have only had the fan for a month or so, I've been very pleased with its performance. I've used it in my garage to help with the summer heat, and I'm pleased with its ability to circulate the air. The outlets on the side of the fan came in handy as I needed to run my power drill. My wife walked by the fan while it was on, and she was so impressed with it, she co-opted for use in the house. It looks like another fan is in my future.

I have three of these fans.During the hotter days on Long Island placed fans in locations around house to create air flow through cape cod type house (front rear and garage doors.) COOL! and a little quieter than standard fans. would recommend to others. (After Irene used all three to dry out garage floor....FAST!)

Wow. I read several 5-star reviews, and that little "sceptic" inside started questioning if they were legit. Wanted to see/feel the fan in person, but none of my local HD stores stock it, so I went on faith. Better results than I anticipated! They are for a part of my company's disaster recovery process, and to test them, I loaned one to the biggest complainer of how hot the office always is, and he won't give it back! I am going to buy some for my home to cool down some "hot" spots (and work in the garage). Shipped quickly and free (bought 5), price was $10.00 off on sale...all around great deal! 100% satisfied. If you want this to dry your carpet, or wall, you'll have to plan on a week or so to get the job done. I have never had one of these, maybe it isn't working right, cuz my box fan moves more air.

I like the idea of this fan it is smaller, cheaper,and quiet compared to the big carpet blower fans we use at work. My boss bought a few of these blower fans and they did such a great job on the job site. I had to have one at home. I have been surprised how well this fan works that this is my second one I own now .
